Beyonce is always a fashion trend setter but she hit a rough patch on the Met Gala’s recent red carpet.  The music superstar and her famous husband were attending Monday’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit in New York.

The beautiful songbird shocked photographers and spectators when her super snug, major cleavage-baring Pucci gown proved almost impossible to walk in.  Not only did Beyonce struggle with walking, she had a hard time posing on the Red Carpet or even turning to the photographers who were only to happy to show their displeasure by screaming loud boos.

USA Today was at the scene of Beyonce’s fashion crime and caught the boos and heckling on video which they posted on their site.

Ultimately Beyonce’s husband JayZ and a group of helpers had to basically carry the 29-year-old singer up the stairs at the gala fashion event.  The fact Beyonce needed help walking up the stairs made the tightness of the gown even more obvious. Ashley Judd Hairstyles

Ashley Judd has been keeping a low profile these days, at least on the Red Carpets.  However, she surfaced on November 10, 2009 for an event honoring her.

The event was held by USA Today and was attended by Ashley, her handsome husband Dario Franchitti and some of her longtime friends such as Mandy Moore, Molly Sims, Morgan Freeman and Ellen Burstyn.

Ashley flew to Beverly Hills to receive the USA Today Hollywood Hero award for her work with YouthAIDS.

In case you’ve been wondering what Ashley is up to these days, the actress is busy attending classes in Public Policy at Harvard in Cambridge.  Instead of playing a role where she is a student, the actress has traded roles and is actually dealing with studying and dealing with grades. Author Gary McKechnie has written a book for National Geographic titled ‘USA 101: A Guide to America’s Iconic Places, Events and Festivals’.

In a recent interview with Larry Olmsted for USA Today he shared some of his own favorite Top Ten Places where you can visit and find true Americans with traditional attitudes.

I’m a big fan of Craig Wilson who writes The Final Word column for USA Today.  When I have a chance, I attempt to scan a variety of morning papers, with USA Today being one of my favorites.

I have become very fond of Craig’s column which offers many unique insights about life.  He has a great sense of humor, but more importantly he knows how to cut to the chase on life’s little hassles which really don’t matter all that much, even though some people think they do.

In his July 30, 2008 column Craig examined whether it is appropriate to go sockless in certain shoe situations.  I found his column amusing and entertaining.  Little did I know that sock controversy would strike in my own life in a matter of days.
