Scott Speedman’s Grizzly Adoration Hair

In May of 2009 Scott told People Magazine that he decided to the go the “grizzly route” which his hair.  He also grew a beard which also looked a tad on the scraggly side.

When asked by People why he was looking “pretty grizzly” Scott said “I thought it worked really well for the (Adoration) character, since he’s such an isolated and depressed guy.  But when I’m not working, I stop shaving and let it go.  That’s generally how I look.”

Scott who lives in LA told People he loves it in Tinsel Town.  He also said “But, I mean, nobody likes the traffic.  And the desperation in the air can get to be a bit much at times.”

Scott doesn’t have desperation in his own air space.  Fast forward to July of 2011 and Scott’s life has completely changed since his scruffy days back in 2009.

Now the actor who is wearing his head much shorter and layered.  He’s also staying close to beautiful Aussie girlfriend Teresa Palmer.

The two were spotted at the Kings of Leon after-party hosted by British fashion brand AllSaints held at Jackalope Ranch on Friday (April 15) in Indio, Calif.  Scott, 36, and Teresa, 25, have only been dating for a few months.

The beautiful actress was featured in the film “I Am Number 4.”   Scott, is best known for his work as Ben Covington on the long-running series Felicity.

Scott looks shockingly different with his hair cut shorter and tousled versus long, wavy and shaggy.  Which look do you like best on Scott?

There must be something in the water in Hollywood hair salons.  Celebrities are chopping their long lots faster than the media can photograph them.

Jennifer Aniston recently went a lot shorter as did supermodel Brooklyn Decker.  They joined the already short hair ranks of Ashlee Simpson and Kate Winslet.

Vanessa Hudgens recently joined the ranks with a shorter wavy style.  The 22 year old High School Musical actress recently told the media she cut off her very long raven tresses because “it felt like the right thing to do.”

She also says that since cutting her hair “her career is taking an exciting new direction now that she has hacked off her long locks.”   Vanessa also said “I feel like now is a very transitional time for me. The two movies I have coming out are very different and a big change for me and the hair is all part of that.”

When the actress appeared at the Nylon Magazine Anniversary Party in LA her hair was coiffed into a faux bob which barely brushed the tops of her shoulders.    The mock wavy bob cascaded from an off-center part with an array of bouncy ringlets extending from a sleek top right above the ears and down to the shoulders.  Continue reading “Vanessa Hudgen’s New Shorter Wavy Hairstyle” »

For the past week I was in Los Angeles having business meetings and visiting with several of my celebrity hairdressing friends to discuss current hair trends, new product lines and related tips.

Yes, I love LA, so I did take a little time to hang out on the beach in Malibu, with appropriate skin and hair suncreens applied, and enjoy the incredible people watching in Beverly Hills.  Afterall, if you come to LA you have to play just a little bit.  Right?

When I visit LA, which I usually do 2-4 times a year, I like to stay in a range of neighborhoods.

Sometimes I stay in Beverly Hills, sometimes Hollywood and the last two trips I’ve taken I’ve plopped my bags down in downtown LA.

Before you wrinkle your nose, I have to tell you that downtown LA is in a period of resurgence and the hotels are keeping pace.  I have to say I am impressed with how beautiful downtown Los Angeles has recently become. Comedian Zach Braff of TV’s Scrubs was recently on The Ellen Degeneres show to debunk rumors of his own death and to chat about his flying lessons and actually piloting his own plane across country to visit Ellen in Los Angeles.

Ellen opened her segment with Zach, after hugging him, by telling him she missed him.
