Edie Falco is the bomb as Nurse Jackie.  On tonight’s episode, which was beyond insane Jackie is dealing with a little boy who might have a serious disease (cystic fibrosis) while Dr. Fitch Cooper aka Coop played brilliantly by Twilight’s Peter Facinelli is obsessed with Twitter.  He is shown walking down the halls talking out loud as he tweets.

In fact, he’s tweeting so much that Nurse Jackie lodges a complaint with her whacked out supervisor, Mrs. Gloria Akalitus, played by Anna Deavere Smith.

She tells Akalitus, her on-again, off-again nemesis, that Coop is pissing her off because he’s tweeting so much.  Coop tells Jackie he’s going to tweet about her and she warns him he better not.  And she means business.

My addiction to the uber popular CBS Reality Show Big Brother has evolved through various stages. Initially I was completely amazed by the concept that a group of 13 people would willingly be locked up in a house without any type of electronic leashes (iPhone, notebook computers, PDAs) or any type of access to the outside world.

The House Guests (HG) can’t even take in paper or pencils because they are not allowed to write anything down. In fact, the women are stripped of lip and eye pencils or lipstick which can be used to track dates or events. Games of memory are very big in the BB game so the producers try to prevent any types of recording by the House Guests.

After I recovered from the shock of them living inside this house completely surrounded by microphones and cameras I became less in awe of their daily experiences. In tonight’s Big Brother Show (Tuesday, August 18th) Michele is the current Head of Household (HoH) and she puts Natalie and Chima up on the Eviction Block as her two HoH nominees.

Michele told Chima she nominated her “I would like to be in the Final Two and I don’t see you taking me.”  She told Natalie “someone had to be in the other slot”.

In the Diary Room (DR) Michele explains why she put Chima up on the block.  She told the DR cameras “even though I really like Chima as a person in the end I just have to keep my mind straight and remember that I’m in the Big Brother House to win 1/2 million dollars.  I don’t think my friendship with Chima is worth $500,000 dollars.”

Chima was furious.  She said to Natalie and Lydia about Michele “I’ve done nothing but be kind to her in this game.”  Lydia said “What The F***?”  Natalie told Chima “she (Michele) just did what they told her to do.”  Chima pointed out that she had extended herself to Michele and now she screwed her. Saturday – August 15, 2009 – 10:15 pm

Lately the events at the Big Brother 11 House have accelerated to breakneck speeds.  It’s almost becoming impossible to keep up with all the lightening moves being made.

Since Jessie was shockingly sent home on Thursday evening the following events have occurred in breakneck speed:

1.  Michele won Head of Household (HoH) and settled into her HoH room.  She read an intimate letter from her husband back home to the rest of the HouseGuests and talked about the many colors her hair has been from her current reddish brown to past shades of pink, blue, black and blonde.  Michele confessed lots of secrets including the fact she does her hair colors herself.

2.  Lydia, Natalie, Michele, Kevin and Chima had a farewell wine toast to Jessie and lots of crying ensued from Chima, Lydia and Natalie.  Natalie, Lydia and Chima became bitter over the Jeff, Jordan, Russell triangle and undertook forms of sabotage including pouring hot sauce in their clothing which enraged Jeff. As always things are getting crazier and crazier at the Big Brother 11 House as times goes by.

Can you even imagine being locked up in a house for days, weeks, months on end without any real contact with the outside world and constantly being watched by the Big Brother team?  If you watch the Live Feeds you capture all sorts of interesting tidbits of conversation.
