Rebecca Romijn’s career is blowing up with her brand new starring role as Roxie Torcoletti on ABC’s sizzling hot Witches Of Eastwick.

Privately the blonde beauty is living her dream life with an adoring husband (actor Jerry O’Connell) and beautiful twin babies (Dolly and Charlie) born nine months ago.  The happy family currently resides in Los Angeles.

The native born California girl also continues to maintain her leading lady status in Hollywood with roles in a number of prominent film and television projects.  She recently wrapped production on the feature film “The Love Child,” opposite Donald Sutherland and Sarah Roemer.

Romijn co-starred for two seasons on the Emmy nominated ABC comedy series Ugly Betty as Alexis Meade, formerly known as Alex Meade, the presumed dead brother of current MODE Magazine editor Daniel (Eric Mabius). In its debut season, the show won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy and the Writers Guild Award for Best New Series. (more…)

Katee Sackhoff appeared at the recent Fox 2009 All Star party wearing her long flaxen blonde tresses glammed up with layers of soft flirty curls.

For fans of Katee Sackhoff you may know she loves to wear her hair longer.  In fact, when she signed to play Sarah Corbison the now defunct Bionic Woman she was thrilled because she could wear her hair long.

At the same time she was starting Bionic Women she was in secret talks to return as Starbuck for the fourth and last season of Battlestar.

Katee only real concern about returning from presumed death as Starbuck?  That they would make her cut her hair.  For the majority of her run on Battlestar her character had chin length hair while Katee loves her hair long and lush.  (more…)

Instant Tips to Lose Hair Frizz

Summertime is one of the prime times for frizz to plague hair due to the constant fluctuations in heat, humidity and sweating which can migrate from the skin to the tresses.

Listed below are some of the most common tips for losing frizz before it wrecks havoc with your hairstyle:

1.  Start with a frizz fighting hairstyle.  If your hair naturally tends to frizz discuss options for containing it naturally through your haircut.  Get a professional frizz fighting cut and then keep it well maintained.

2.  Allow natural moisture from your scalp and strands to help combat frizz which is often the result of parched tresses.  During high frizz months back off daily or even every other day cleanse cycles.  Try to extend your hair washing to once or twice a week. (more…)

As I mentioned yesterday in my blog, Mane Man Ken Paves recently coiffed long term best friend and hair muse, Jessica Simpson, for an upcoming 2009 Glamour cover shoot.  The shoot was a major success, looked gorgeous and Ken and Jess went to Nobu for dinner to celebrate.

False Reporting Of Reasons For Jessica Working With Oribe

The two best friends were falsely reported a few weeks ago as being on the outs when Jessica had her hair styled by celebrity hairdresser Oribe for a Vanity Fair cover shoot.

I have been watching Paris Hilton’s hair transformations for many years.  I have watched her through all different hair lengths, variations of blonde, textures, braids, updos and hair accessories.

Whether you love her or not, Paris Hilton keeps things interesting in the hair styling arena.  Just when you think Paris has settled on a particular hairstyle, she changes it again.

One thing that seems to be true, Paris sticks close to the blonde hues which is wise because she looks fabulous as a blonde.

Recently Paris appeared in a gorgeous mid-length bob which was in my humble opinion, one of the most perfect haircuts she has adopted over the many years I have been a Paris hair watcher.
