Clairol Loving Care Hair Color Discontinued

If you’ve been using Clairol Loving Care, it’s been discontinued.  I’ve had a lot of emails from people asking me for a comparable product.

At this point the common wisdom seems to be to switch to Clairol’s Natural Instincts (the original and neither the Brass Free or Vibrant versions) although many users don’t agree that it’s a reasonable replacement.

Why?  Clairol Loving Care was popular because it was truly a no ammonia or peroxide color wash.  In essence the color was very gentle and would wash out in anywhere from 1-12 shampoos.

Although Loving Care was not recommended for use on top of highlighted or bleached hair, it was a wonderful solution for punching up permanent hair color in-between touch-ups or in some cases for covering gray.

Ryan Gosling is sizzling hot with any type of hair style or color.  However, it was just revealed in the media that Ryan has gone with a bleached blonde hair color.  Why?  For a film role, natch.

Gosling is currently filming the movie “The Place Beyond The Pines” in New York.  This role called for a completely different look including the bleached blonde strands along with the addition of tattoos.

Ryan naturally has lighter hair, but obviously he went with a major drastic bleached blonde hue.  It’s interesting to see the hot actor with such a different hairstyle.  Also starring in the film are actors Bradley Cooper and Ray Liotta and actresses Eva Mendes and Greta Gerwig.

Jennifer Aniston’s Hair Color Hair Gate

Jennifer Aniston is famous for her beach blonde hair which she historically wears highlighted and low lighted with an array of golden blonde hues.   Even though Jennifer is a natural brunette, her fame and fortune are intricately linked to her baby blonde tresses which she wears in an array of lengths and styles.

All of Jennifer’s fans from Friends loved the native Californian for her iconic blonde Rachel character. With her successful blonde hair history it was a surprise to discover the star dyed her flaxen locks brown and added a heavy fringe for her role as a raunchy man eating dentist in the new film “Horrible Bosses.”

The actress admits the new brunette hairstyle was her idea, but studio chiefs fought her over the plan.  With her blonde history driving her acting career it was understandable that movie bosses were worried about audience reaction to  Jennifer’s insistence to play a brunette
