Jill Zarin In Talks With Bravo And Launching Shapewear Collection

Jill Zarin, considered to be one of  America’s favorite housewives on The Real Housewives Of New York City (RHONYC) has been a top trending topic on Yahoo and Google over the past few days.

Why?  It was claimed by the media that Jill was being axed from the popular Bravo/TV reality show along with Cindy Barshop, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord.

Jill’s firing from Bravo was misreported.  A rep for the 47-year-old reality star told Us Weekly that “Jill has not been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City. The truth is that Jill is still in discussions with Bravo for season 5 and hasn’t made a final decision about returning to the show.”

Jill Zarin’s Fans Threatening To Boycott The Show

Jill’s fans were so upset by the rumors they threatened to boycott the show.  Even more interesting, rumors were flying that the only remaining RHONYC cast members would be LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan.  Other housewives would be added at a later date, according to various media reports.

On Saturday evening, July 19, 2009 I attended a Cosmoprof North America media briefing held at 5:30 in the Reef F room.

Discover Beauty

One of the four presenters was Daniela Ciocan, Cosmoprof North America / SoGeCos Director of Marketing.  She welcomed the media to her home town (Daniela lives in Las Vegas year round) and shared her excitement over this year’s show, especially the innovative Discover Beauty area which has continued to grow each year.

This year Daniela pointed out that the Discover Beauty area has some of the most unique and compelling brands than every before.  These brands will stand out in any prestige retail or spa setting.

Not only are the brands timely, they will help to shape the future of the beauty industries and to help create new beauty categories worldwide.

After accelerating allergy problems (wheezing, difficulty breathing, runny eyes) my local doctor told me that it was most likely dust mites – eewwww – or other allergens when I was attempting to sleep.

Why? I felt fine at work but my symptoms seemed to kick in at night and in the morning I felt horrible. After some reflection I realized my bed was definitely in need of replacing. UGH. Like I don’t have enough stuff to deal with but now I have to go bed shopping?

Even worse, where to start? Being constantly busy, the thought of spending time, when I could be CEOing or writing, shopping for bedding gave me the shudders.
