Katherine Heigl Regrets Past Comments About Grey’s Anatomy

No, Katherine Heigl hasn’t decided to go back to Grey’s Anatomy, but she’s trying to mend some broken fences as she heads off into the Sunset.
The former Izzie Stevens who spent six years on the show told the media she regrets snubbing the Emmy Awards in 2008 and blaming the hard working writers on the show for her decision not to enter the awards race.

Katie, as some of her friends call her, made headlines when she told reporters she wouldn’t be defending her Best Actress crown because she didn’t feel the roles she had been written recently on Grey’s warranted her nomination.
As you can imagine, her comments to the media upset the show’s writers. Hindsight is always 20/20. Now that she has officially left the show that made her a big star, Katherine admits her comments were mean and she could probably have handled the situation better.
