Kevin McKidd Misses His Mom Back In Scotland

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Kevin McKidd Misses His Mom Back In ScotlandKevin McKidd (born 9 August 1973) is one of the hot hunks (Dr. Owen Hunt) on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.  He is the love interest of Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh).

Although he’s originally from Scotland, he resides in the States.  He still keeps in close contact with his mom and admitted “I speak to my mom all the time on the Web phone thing” but it’s a big delay because “my mom’s in Scotland.”

Kevin confessed “I always wanted to be an actor.  I went through a stage when I was a kid, in the local youth theater you know.  But when I hit my teens I decided that wasn’t for me.  I was going to be a rock star.  So then I joined a band.  We made a band.  We did really bad Hendricks and Pink Floyd covers.” Continue reading “Kevin McKidd Misses His Mom Back In Scotland” »

Since Bob, who became famous for his hit single – The Cheater – was my music teacher for four years of band class at Bishop du Bourg High School in St. Louis, Mo. I couldn’t resist the book.

WOW. The book was fascinating in so many ways. Written with Nancy K. Wegner, Bob delved deeply into his life as a professional drummer and his entire life from the time he first picked up his beloved drum sticks.
