As part of SCI FI’s brand evolution to Syfy on July 7, a refresh of the look and feel of Syfy will be reflected in a ground-breaking two-minute brand film, “House of Imagination,” that celebrates Syfy’s unique spin on imagination.

Stars from Warehouse 13, Eureka, Ghost Hunters, Caprica, Sanctuary, Stargate Universe, and Destination Truth are featured.

Talent participating, in order of appearance, are: Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne (Sanctuary); Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Jordan Hinson, Neil Grayston, (Eureka); Lou Diamond Phillips (Stargate Universe); Josh Gates (Destination Truth); Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson (Ghost Hunters); Tracy Morgan (Scare Tactics), Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek (Warehouse 13), and Alessandra Torresani (Caprica).

Over One Million People Tuned In, Show Site Logged Over One Million Page Views

Oxygen’s highly anticipated dance/weight-loss competition show “Dance Your Ass Off” with hostess Marissa Jaret Winokur became the most watched series premiere in network history among W18-49, A18-49 and total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research Fast Nationals.

The telecast drew an impressive 1.3 million total viewers; 614,000 A18-49, 432,000 W18-49, and 173,000 W18-34 launching Oxygen’s second night of original programming on Monday nights.

Bringing dance and diet together, “Dance Your Ass Off” features talented, full-figured contestants who struggle with their weight and through dancing unleash their inner thin. (more…)

Oxygen pulls back the curtain on the tantalizing world of medi-spas with a new reality workplace dramedy series, “Addicted to Beauty.”

“Addicted to Beauty” follows the outrageous staff at Changes Plastic Surgery and Spa, located in Southern California.

Dianne York-Goldman, socialite and marketing expert, has brought her over-the-top employees from her previous spa to help with this new venture with well-known plastic surgeon Dr. Gilbert Lee.

The staff includes: Gary, the flamboyant and outspoken receptionist; Ronnie, the eccentric concierge; Natasha, Dianne’s levelheaded assistant and Shannyn, the whip cracking spa manager.

However, this group may be no match for Melanie (aka, “Mel”), Dr. Lee’s no nonsense office manager who is not afraid of giving out tough love. (more…)

One of the best things that ever happened to Dallas native Melissa Rycroft was getting dumped by Jason Mesnick  in March on ABC’c The Bachelor.  As the saying goes…when one door closes, another opens.

It was recently announced that the beautiful and perky Joanna Garcia will be hanging out for four episodes on CW’s Gossip Girl this Fall (Gossip Girl returns Monday, Sept. 14, now at 9 pm/ET).

Joanna who was recently on CW’s Priviledged, which was sadly canceled, will play the latest new love interest for Nate.

Joanna will play Bree, a Southern belle with an edgy lifestyle.  Although her upbringing was conservative, her current lifestyle is much less so.

It has also been reported by the media that JoAnna who went Cinnamon Brown for her lead on CW’s Priviledged will be going much lighter for her Gossip Girls role.

It has been reported she will be a blonde Southern belle.  Which is very appropriate for Gossip Girls. (more…)
