Mo’Nique (born Monique Imes on December 11, 1967) recently stopped by the Ellen Degeneres show to discuss her spectacular role in the film Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire.

Mo’Nique is an American television hostess, comedian and actress who is originally for Baltimore.  She is best known by many for her long term role in The Parkers.

The vivacious actress was Ellen’s first guest, bringing a clip of the film where she play’s Mary Jones, the abusive mother of Precious.  This movie has a lot of Oscar buzz around it.

Mo’Nique appeared on Ellen wearing a gorgeous dusty rose fitted V neck at-the-knee dress.  The dress had beautiful draping throughout the waist showcasing Mo’Nique’s slim hourglass figure.  Her hair was coiffed in a sleek to-the-shoulder lush bob hairstyle.

Mo’Nique’s base hair color was a right milk chocolate brown and she had a side-swept fringe with lighter caramel highlights.  The fringe had lots of texture and movement and offset her stunning eyes. (more…)

A gorgeous Arielle Kebbel made a surprise appearance on CW’s hit show, The Vampire Diaries, wearing a below-the-waist long blonde tresses.

Arielle was playing a 300 year young female vampire, Lexi, whose best friend is Stefan (Paul Wesley).  It’s made clear that Lexi and Stefan are just friends with absolutely no romantic entanglements.

It’s also obvious that Lexi is very powerful and doesn’t like Stefan’s evil brother, Damon (Ian Somerhalder).  The feeling between Lexi and Damon is mutual.  Neither likes the other much at all.

Lexi not only pops in to see her best friend, she is also in town “for one night only” to celebrate Stefan’s 162nd birthday.   Of course the title of the edgy episode is “162 Candles” to go along with the birthday theme. (more…)

I know I’ve said this before but I adore Bonnie Hunt.  There are so many reasons including our Midwestern, Irish Catholic common background, but she is so grounded yet funny.  I never miss her show thanks to the help of my Tivo.

In fact, when push comes to shove, you could catch me watching Bonnie before I catch up on Ellen or the big O.

Introduction of LL Cool J

Recently Bonnie had LL Cool J (James Todd Smith) on her show to discuss his new acting work in NCIS Los Angeles.  LL Cool J (born January 14, 1968) stands for “Ladies Love Cool James” and he is an American rapper known for romantic ballads such as “I Need Love”, “Around the Way Girl” and “Hey Lover” as well as pioneering hip-hop such as “I Can’t Live Without My Radio”, “I’m Bad”, “The Boomin’ System”, and “Mama Said Knock You Out”.

LL Cool J is one of a few hip-hop stars of his era to sustain a successful recording career for more than two decades, with more recent singles like “4, 3, 2, 1″, “Headsprung” and “Rocking With The G.O.A.T” and “No Crew Is Superior”. (more…)

Stephanie Jacobsen was born Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen on June 22, 1980 in Hong Kong.  She is an Australian actress and in her various bios she says she has mixed heritage.

Her family moved to Australia when she was 12 years old.  Steph as her friends call her attended Sydney University where she graduated with a double major on Philosophy and English Literature.

The actress who has very thick, lush, raven black tresses which she wears below her shoulders, began her acting career on the Australian soap opera Home and Away playing Charlotte Adams from 2001 to 2002.

Stephanie who is 5′5″ and known for her gorgeous lips later appeared in Farscape and the SBS comedy Pizza, as well as a number of TV commercials.

In 2007, Jacobsen landed the role of Kendra Shaw in Battlestar Galactica.  Razor, a between-seasons television film of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica TV series.  She also played Sam Tyler’s future girlfriend in the original US pilot for Life on Mars. (more…)

One of my favorite actors, Scott Foley is to guest star on a forthcoming episode of Courteney Cox’s comedy series Cougar Town. The 37-year-old Scott is best known for his roles as a college student on Felicity . Most recently he played a hot secret agent on The Unit.

Scott was married to Jennifer Garner. The couple met on Felicity at which point Jennifer was a no name extra and Scott was the big star. As history goes, Jennifer divorced Scott and ultimately remarried Ben Affleck after first dating her Alias co-star. Scott recently remarried as well.

It has been announced that Scott will appear in three episodes as a businessman. He will be a potential love interest for Court’s character.

Scott Foley previously guest starred on numerous episodes of Scrubs, created by Cougar Town producer Bill Lawrence and has a long history with the producer. It would surprise no one if Scott found a long term home on Cougar Town with Courteney.
