Deron Williams Fade Hairstyle

Deron Michael Williams (born June 26, 1984 in  Parkersburg, West Virginia), nicknamed D-Will, is an American basketball player (point guard) currently playing with the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Williams has also played for the Utah Jazz of the NBA and Beşiktaş of the Turkish Basketball League. The popular B-Ball player was drafted 3rd overall in the 2005 draft by the Utah Jazz, for whom he played before being traded in the middle of his sixth season to the Nets.

He is a two-time All-Star and a gold medal winner at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

According to recent news reports North Korean heir-apparent Kim Jong-un’s hair styles have become the hottest haircuts for male in that country.

Although the hair style is currently the rage in North Korea its very possible that the hair style will start showing up in other parts of the world as a hot new hair style trend.

Kim Jong-un’s hair styles are based around a very high-sided hair cut with an explosion of hair along the top and at the crown of the head. The hair is shiny as if it’s been partially slicked back or dressed with hair oils.

The hair at the hairline is directed off a short center part with each of the two sides curving slightly onto the forehead.

The combination of the sheared sides and the raven black hair sprouting from the top of the head makes for a very dramatic look.

Ellen told Steve Martin when he visited her talk show recently “Steve, I love the way you dress.”  Steve said “that’s part of my philosophy as the face gets worse the clothes have to get better.”  Ellen laughed “to draw attention down?”  Steve was making a joke about his advancing age.

The comedian and musician who was on Ellen’s show admitted he stopped by because he wanted to promote his new CD.  Steven, born August 14, 1945, was his hilarious self discussing “The Rare Bird Alert”, the name of the CD which was recorded by Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers.

Steve said “I was just thinking in any profession in the world if you’re a success at it you get to dress well and act dignified, but if you’re a success in comedy you always wind up wearing a funny hat.”  Steve was referring to the fact that Ellen had him sitting backstage with Star Jones wearing a big funny hat which the cameras showed to the audience and all the viewers.

Ellen asked Steve if he was an athletic person.  He said “somewhat I would say I used to be more athletic than I am now.  That’s because I’m falling apart.”

Steve, who has a beautiful head of snowy white hair which he accents perfectly with his chic black framed glasses, was again teasing about his age.  Unfortunately he didn’t discuss or make jokes about his hair which I think looks stunning. In a previous blog I shared that one of my guilty pleasures is the film “Spanglish” which was released in 2004.

Although the critics panned it, I love the film and all the various actors including Sarah Jane Steele (born July 24, 1988) who plays Bernice, Sandler’s awkward teen-aged daughter.

Sarah beat out thousands of young hopeful females to win the role.  She was fabulous as the lovable teen dealing with her mother’s constant lack of approval due to her weight, frizzy curly hair and overall appearance.

Her mother, Deborah, played by Tea Leoni was blonde, beautiful, athletic and reed thin.  She also had long, bone straight tresses, which were always perfectly coiffed.

Much to her mother’s disappointment Bernie physically and emotionally takes after her father, John who has bushy natural curls, full eyebrows and a healthy weight.  Sarah Steele was spectacular in the role.  Every time I see the movie I want to reach through the screen and give her a hug.
