WELLA PROFESSIONALS USA ANNOUNCES TREND VISION 2009 FINALISTS

Wella Professionals announces the finalists in the 2009 Trend Vision Competition. The competition was launched in Spring 2009 as the annual photo competition where stylists interpreted their choice of the Wella Global 2009 Trends to compete in one of two categories:

YOUNG TALENT: Open to hairdressers of 30 years of age or younger, this category honors the best in class interpretation of a Trend Vision 09 trend that delivers an overall look.

Klorane chamomile for blond hair

Apothecary favorite brand makes new additions to existing product line, long-favored by fair-haired starlets.

Native to Mediterranean regions, Matricaria recuitita L. Chamomile, a large and very aromatic annual plant, has been used since ancient times.

This particular variety of chamomile, Matricaria recuitita L., was selected by Klorane more than 40 years ago for its high content of natural pigments that attach onto the hair scales without penetrating to the core of the hair fiber. It lightens blond hair and gives beautiful, very natural highlights to light brown hair.

At that time the World Premiere of the 2010 Trend Zoom Collection will also be unveiled.

Racine Manley is the current Miss Guam 2009.  She is gorgeous with lush chocolate brown hair.  Even more importantly,  she is also Social Media Savvy and is Tweeting on Twitter about her experiences while she is in the Bahamas at the competition.

Beautiful brunette actress Mylène Dinh-Robic who was recently seen on NBC’s “The Listener” was born and raised in Montréal, Canada.  The multi-talented actress speaks French, English and Spanish which should come in very handy for future roles.

Note: Sadly NBC decided to cancel the show at the end of the series due to low ratings.

Although her part was relatively small compared to some of the other stars of the show, she rocked the segments she appeared in and her tresses always looked silky, shiny and healthy.

Since she played a doctor on The Listener her hair was coiffed appropriately.  Afterall, you wouldn’t expect to see a doctor wearing a sophisticated hairstyle while working on patients who might be expelling body fluids all over the place. (more…)
