After spending time in seclusion after the untimely and tragic death of his son John Travolta is back in the public eye.  He recently appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show to promote an upcoming movie he made with his lovely daughter Ella Blue and his good friend Robin Williams.

Ellen introduced John Travolta by saying “our first guest is one of the biggest stars in the world his latest film is “Old Dogs,” opens November 25th”.  Ellen then showed a clip of the film.

John entered the stage wearing a fabulous suede like coat with a layered sweater look that was very fashionable.  The actor started out his visit on Ellen’s show by saying “I want to take one moment to thank each and every one of you throughout this country and throughout the world for all your support and all your love for our family. Thank you.”

Ellen said “A lot of love.  It’s important all the time but you did get a lot of love, you known that.  Every time you’re here people just adore you.  It’s good that you feel that.” (more…)

Ashlee Simpson Wentz was recently seen leaving the Ken Paves West Hollywood Salon on Robertson with her vibrant red hair dyed raven black.

Select photos of her with her newly Raven black tresses were snapped by WENN photographers as she left the Paves salon.

The length was still long but Ashlee also had her fringe and hairline tresses cut into layers which hugged her face along her forehead and edging into her cheeks.

It was a more edgy hairstyle similar to the styles Ashlee had favored during the early days of her singing career when she first went Raven black with her color.

In fact, Ken Paves, who has styled Ashlee’s hair for years was proud of the fact that Ashlee had initially colored her hair darker herself with a little help from her hair colorist and Ken.

Although Ashlee was a vibrant redhead for her role as Violet on The CW’s revised Melrose Place, she is not returning to her music roots and has just announced she will make her Broadway debut later this month playing Roxie Hart.

Ashley Judd Hairstyles

Ashley Judd has been keeping a low profile these days, at least on the Red Carpets.  However, she surfaced on November 10, 2009 for an event honoring her.

The event was held by USA Today and was attended by Ashley, her handsome husband Dario Franchitti and some of her longtime friends such as Mandy Moore, Molly Sims, Morgan Freeman and Ellen Burstyn.

E Online and People.com recently reported that Jessica Simpson, escorted by Hollywood Mane Man Ken Paves were spotted in New York at dinner together.

Not just dinner, the two news outlets reported that Gerard and Jessica were flirting and making eye contact.

Since that news hit, other tabloids have cooked up even more outrageous reports including Ken blocking Jessica from leaving to spend the evening with Gerard in his hotel room.
