Leonor Greyl’s Huile De Palme - Tips For Maximum Benefit

Friday, November 6th, 2009

When I started HairBoutique back in 1996-1997 I promised myself I would continue to try all the products that HairBoutique.com sells in their Marketplace.  With that promise in mind I recently did some user testing of Leonor Greyl’s fabulous Huile De Palme.

(Image of Leonor Greyl’s  Huile De Palme - Courtesy of HairBoutique.com and Leonor Greyl - All Rights Reserved).

HairBoutique.com has been carrying the complete Leonor Greyl line for some years now but I tend to get lazy and not want to swap out from my regulars that I have been rotating through for many years which are cherry picked from Phyto, Rene Furterer, JF Lazartique, Paul Mitchell and L’Oreal.

Yes, there is a recession right now and I am watching my pennies like almost everyone else but because my own hair is naturally wavy/curly and naturally dry, I have been diluting or Conditioning Only (CO) washing my hair for many years now.

I also do regular oil treatments but when one of my faves was discontinued I decided to create my own - HairTopia oil - which I used on a daily basis alternating the oil with the mist.  I love jojoba oil for my hair but it is not for all hair types and textures.

Which brings me to the Leonor Greyl Huile De Palme.  I love all the Leonor Greyl packaging because it is clean and pristine.  Even before Gwen Stefani the No Doubt group made Leonor Greyl product line their hair care of choice for their 2009-2010 concert tour, I loved the company, their customer care and the results the product delivers. Hair & Beauty Implements - Cosmoprof North America - 2009 Trend Report:

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

Implements - Bridging The Gap Between A Problem & A Solution

As a result of leading technology, implements help bridge the gap between a problem and a solution. While hair products are extremely important when caring for hair, it is the implements that transform clean or dirty hair to shiny masterpieces.

(Image of new VibeStyler by HotStyler unveiled at Cosmoprof North America 2009 - www.hotstylers.com - All Rights Reserved).

Moving beyond garden variety skincare products, skincare brands are merging the tried-and-true methods of other beauty categories to enhance the end product for consumers.

Finally, implements are simple responses to supply and demand.

Innovative Implement Trends For 2009

The following are a list of innovative implements that address needs for hair, skincare, and others that you may not know you need.

VibeStyler by HotStyler uses state of the art vibrating technology in its flat iron which realigns the hair cuticle to prevent damage. VibeStyler reduces the friction on the hair gliding through the plates with ease and helps to prevent breakage and tugging, ensuring silky, straight hair with longer lasting results. www.hotstylers.com (more…)

Rene Furterer Karite Hair Line For Dry & Damaged Tresses

René Furterer Karite For Dry And Damaged Hair

Do you know anyone who doesn’t complain of split ends or dry ends? We don’t.

Whether someone has a low-maintenance short hairstyle and is trying to grow it out, or is a starlet with cascading hair that is styled day-to-day, special attention must be paid to the oldest part of the hair - the ends.

Most of one’s hair is protected and naturally conditioned by oils from the scalp, but the ends are not always so lucky.

Karité or Shea butter and oils have naturally intense nourishing and moisturizing properties, often used for treating very dry skin or hair.

René Furterer Karite Intense Nutrition Oil - Pre-Shampoo Treatment

René Furterer Karite intense nutrition oil gives the hair exceptional softness and silkiness while providing optimal protection and nutrition to the scalp and hair. Applied before shampoo. (more…)
