Rodney Cutler is an Australian celebrity hair stylist and the founder of the three current Cutler salons which includes the first one on 57th Street New York City, Cutler Soho and the newest, The Cutler Salon in Miami, Florida.

Rodney who is a known workaholic has long been a spokesperson for the Redken line of hair care products for years and has his own line of amazing haircare products - Cutler - which wins kudos for all the major fashion and beauty magazine.

I have been hearing about Rodney for years and knew he was the Mane Man for Rachel Ray who he came up through the celebrity ranks with.

Recently I had a chance to chat with Rodney’s business manager and she was delightful.

What Comes First - Accessories, Fashion or World Events?

It’s a lot like the chicken and egg question.  What comes first, hair accessory trends or fine jewelry trends?

Even better what comes before either of those, fashion or world events?

After watching the hair accessory trending market for over 12 years I have to say that hair accessory trends often sync up with emerging fine jewelry trends which of course follow fashion which is often driven by world and economic trends.
