Comedian Ray Romano was once again a guest on Ellen’s talk show.  Ray made a point of showing off the tops of his Ellen brand underwear which he told the audience is one of the great perks about appearing on the show.  Apparently the Ellen underwear comes in the gift bag for all the guests.

Ray made a point of telling the audience “I just want to make this point clear, there men’s underwear.  I’m not wearing women’s underwear right now.”  Ray said “I love them” when referring to his various Ellen underwear pairs but said “I save them for when I’m on the show.  For special occasions.  I don’t want to ruin them.”

Falling Asleep At All The Wrong Times And In All The Wrong Places

The current star of TNT’s Men Of A Certain Age recently turned 53 years old and is dealing with aging issues including sleep pattern disruptions.

Ray also said he sometimes falls asleep when he doesn’t want to, but can’t fall asleep at other times when he really wants to.

He reported he recently did “the dip, the head dip, driving late at night (falling asleep) thing.  I did the head thing. Yeah, it’s a scary.  That’s a frightening head dip. The last few years have been brutal to large department stores like Macy’s.  Of course like all businesses, Macy’s is always looking for ways to cut corners and improve the bottom line. That’s the way businesses survive.

Macy’s recently announced they were dumping all of their famous gift wrapping counters where customers could pay a human to wrap a gift they had purchased from the store.

Reps for Macy’s have said “customers are OK with plopping their gifts into a glossy, store-bought bag” rather than an ornately wrapped box.

The Cincinnati-based retailer claims that their dismantling of gift-wrapping departments, which has been happening in stages for the past three years, is in response to customer tastes and needs rather than a response to sluggish sales.

Pamela Anderson is back in the news in a big way.  Besides her new fragrance, which she has been talking about in the media, she has also been talking about a lot of personal things including her sex tapes with ex-husband Tommy Lee, drug use and her life in general.

Pamela was on Ellen recently to introduce Malibu, her new fragrance and to gift Ellen and her wife Portia with individual pairs of “vegan line of beach boots made out of recycled bottles” which are from her line.   She walked out onto the stage with a pink and a blue gift bag for Ellen and one for Portia.

Pam was wearing a short white dress with chocolate brown hued prints of blowers.  Her tousled hair cascaded below her shoulders and was pulled back off her forehead in a small “bump” and appeared to be pinned back towards the crown with bobby pins.
