Actor Eric Stonestreet who plays the lovable Cameron on ABC’s Modern Family stopped by to see Ellen in Orlando at Universal Park.

Ellen likes to take her show on the road and being a huge roller coaster enthusiast, what better place to go than to Orlando where some of the best rides in the world exist?  This season is Ellen’s fifth year visiting Universal.

Eric arrived on Ellen’s big outdoor stage wearing shades to protect against the blistering Florida sunshine and a full tan suit complete with a striped long sleeve shirt.

He danced out onto the stage and waved at all the fans.  Ellen teased him about his long sleeve jacket and shirt by saving “I see you dressed for Florida weather.”  The actor agreed “yes, yes, yes, just shy of flannel.”

Ellen noted “you look really handsome but you have to be really hot.”  Eric “um, I’m sweltering underneath.”  Eric then shared about the rides he rode on and said “oh my gosh aren’t the rides here incredible?”

Justin Bieber, or his press machine, has figured out that hair is a big media hook.  Anytime a celeb wants to grab some attention they do something to their hair.  Britney shaved hers and Ashlee Simpson tried on a rainbow of hues.  Kelly Osbourne went pink.  Now the Biebster is following suit.

Recently he got a famous haircut and donated his hair to Ellen.  He popped onto Ellen’s talk show and handed her the newly shorn tresses which she then put into a special sealed glass container and put it up for auction on EBay for charity.

Justin’s tresses fetched $40,668 US for charity.  Ellen announced the amount the hair had sold for on her show.  Then she signed the seal on the glass cube holding his hair.  The cube is signed by The Biebs and Ellen.  No one would argue that it was a rousing success.

Now that the excitement of his hair auction has died down, Justin is taking on a new hair frontier.

Jerry O’Connell who currently co-stars on The Defender with Jim Belushi was on Ellen DeGeneres on Friday, March 4th.

Jerry danced out onto the stage, twirled around and did the butt bump with Ellen.  After they sat down Ellen told Jerry “we need to bring the bump back.”  Ellen told Jerry “let’s you and I bring the bump back.”   Laughing Jerry said “bump never left Ellen. The bump never left.”

Ellen said “it went away, I don’t know if you know that, but it went away for a little while, but we should bring the bump back.”  The actor who went to law school for a year before taking the role of a lawyer on the defenders chided her “not in my repertoire.” Motioning to himself he said it’s always been in it.”

The host said “well somebody has to really hold on because you have a firm bump.” Jerry laughed .  He said “I’m a little aggressive, a little excited” about being on the show.

When asked about his twins girls with his wife Rebecca Romijn he explained they’re 25 months old and “people weren’t joking about the terrible twos.”  After showing some adorable photos of the twins on the back screen Jerry said “we are always sending pictures in when they’re behaving really well.  I won’t say which one misbehaves, but uh…they’re really cute.” Continue reading “Jerry O’Connell’s Cat Has Charlie Sheen Tiger Blood In It And Attacks Him” »

Jaycee Badeux won the hearts of many people watching Season 10 of American Idol (AI) which this week announced the top ten contenders.  There were also three wild card picks made by the AI judges for a total of 13 contestants moving forward to the next round.

There were many reasons why Jaycee was so special.   First of all he was just 15 years old, but had the voice of an angel.  He also showed tremendous grace under pressure when fellow contestant Clint Jun Gamboa ejected Jaycee from his group during the first group competitions.

Although the Lafayette, LA student was obviously saddened by first being welcomed into the group and then unexpectedly ejected, he had a great attitude about it and viewed it as all part of the experience.  His mom was with him during the group competition and she showed tremendous pride and support for her son.  Could that have been a Justin Bieberlike moment?

Many AI fans felt Clint was bullying Jaycee but  others felt it was a matter of Clint worrying Jaycee would show him up during the judging.  Ironically Jaycee was welcomed into the group by Brett Lowenstein and went onto to the next round.

Jaycee got eliminated before making it to the final 24 competition.  Jaycee’s bestie Brett survived as did Clint Jun Gamboa and went on to compete for a slot in the final 10.

By being eliminated when he was,  Jaycee will be eligible to return for the next AI season.  Brett and Clint, may not be able to come back.  Although the two young men made it into the top 24, neither  received enough votes to continue on into the top ten.  They also were  not invited to compete for a wild card slot by the judges. Justin Bieber recently made hair headlines when he presented Ellen Degeneres with a bag of his recently snipped hair.  The talk show host posted the hair for sale on eBay where it fetched over $40,000 with the proceeds going to charity.

With all this talk about the value of a bag full of Bieber’s hair clippings you might wonder who yields the scissors shaping the Bibermeister’s strands on a regular basis.  it’s hairdresser Vanessa Price who designed his original swooped fringe style back in 2009.

Price reportedly trims Bieber’s hair every two weeks to keep it picture perfect.  The cost?  $760 per cut, just for the cut.  That doesn’t include washing, drying or styling.  That might sound like a lot of money for a haircut but considering the Bieb’s hair snippets went for $40,000, it pays for him to have the best haircuts in town.

Price travels on tour with the Biebs to make sure his signature strands always look spectacular.  Afterall, what would Justin Bieber be without his trademark tresses?
