Taylor Daniel Lautner (born February 11, 1992) is an American actor and martial artist who is perhaps best known for his 2005 performances in the family films The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, and as Jacob Black in the 2008 film Twilight. He also appeared on the UPN sitcom Love Inc.

Taylor Lautner played Native American character Jacob Black in Twilight, the movie adaptation of the novel by Stephenie Meyer. Due to major physical changes that occur in the character of Jacob Black throughout the series, the director of Twilight’s sequel, New Moon, considered replacing Lautner with a different actor in the second film.

In an attempt to keep the role, Lautner weight-trained extensively and gained approximately 30 pounds^. Lautner will be reprising his role as Jacob in New Moon.  Taylor has also been cast in the film Valentine’s Day as Tyler Harrinton. (more…)

Jason Kent Bateman (Born January 14, 1969 in Rye, New York) is an American film and television actor best known for his role as Michael Bluth on the television sitcom “Arrested Development” (2003).

He was also known for his role on “Silver Spoons” (1982) as a child actor although he made his TV debut as James Cooper Ingalls in “Little House on the Prairie” (1974).

There has been ongoing rumors that the TV sitcom, “Arrested Development” would be made into a movie but the rumors have been a series of dead ends.

This week when he appeared on Ellen Degeneres he confirmed to Ellen that the Arrested Development movie is definitely a go. (more…)

Rebecca Romijn’s career is blowing up with her brand new starring role as Roxie Torcoletti on ABC’s sizzling hot Witches Of Eastwick.

Privately the blonde beauty is living her dream life with an adoring husband (actor Jerry O’Connell) and beautiful twin babies (Dolly and Charlie) born nine months ago.  The happy family currently resides in Los Angeles.

The native born California girl also continues to maintain her leading lady status in Hollywood with roles in a number of prominent film and television projects.  She recently wrapped production on the feature film “The Love Child,” opposite Donald Sutherland and Sarah Roemer.

Romijn co-starred for two seasons on the Emmy nominated ABC comedy series Ugly Betty as Alexis Meade, formerly known as Alex Meade, the presumed dead brother of current MODE Magazine editor Daniel (Eric Mabius). In its debut season, the show won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy and the Writers Guild Award for Best New Series. (more…)

I find Robert, or Robair to his friends, so incredibly fascinating I can’t stop covering his life which is truly like living in a reality show. Yes, I have written volumes about many many other famous hairdressers, but I still keep circling back to Robert on a constant basis.

Of course I understand their concerns.  One misquoted comment could destroy an up and coming hair, make-up or fashion styling in an instant.   They could be drummed out of Hollywood forever.

Robert named his hair company The Kitchen Beautician because he so often ends up working in the kitchens of his celebrity clients’ homes, sometimes using ingredients out of their cabinets.

I have had the pleasure of hanging out in Robert’s famous kitchen on more than one occasion and for hours on end while his beloved pets - Ava the dog and her two cat siblings, Precious and Sweetpea, wander through towards the outdoors set in the amazing patio/deck built high into the hills of LA. Patricia Arquette, star of the popular Medium, recently appeared on The Ellen Show to talk about the new season of the show (the 6th Season), her new short hair cut, her adorable daughter Harlow and her marriage to Thomas Jane, the star of Hung.

Ellen immediately zoned in on Patricia’s sassy short hair cut which combines a long side swept front fringe cascading from a deep side part.  The rest of the hair is much shorter and slightly layered along the sides and back.

The actress’ hair is a gorgeous buttery blonde with hints of platinum lowlights.  Her hair looks shiny, healthy full of great body.

Ellen told Patricia who looked cute in a jacket and matching slacks “Hi Patricia, I love your hair” and the actress said “I’m trying to copycat you, but then you went shorter.”  Ellen agreed she had gone even shorter “I’ve got to switch it up every once in awhile.”

The funny lady asked Patricia “How long had it been since you cut your hair?”  She said “It’d been a long time, I was trying to grow it as long as I could and then the show…last year at the end of the show….I had a brain tumor, so they said ‘how do you feel about cutting your hair?’ (more…)
