Jeff and Michele were hanging out in the yard today (Monday, August 17, 2009) sitting on the lawn furniture and talking about the game.

Michele reported to Jeff on Russell’s latest conversations with her.  She said Russell wants Michele to be in the final two because he feels she’s a “super villain” and has “done a lot of bad stuff in the Big Brother House” and will not be voted by America.

Russell Is Paranoid

Jeff and Michele talked about how “paranoid” Russell is about everything and how he told Michele that Russ and Michele should try and win all the next Head of Households and Power of Vetos to control the rest of the game.  Jeff in his practical wisdom pointed out “it would be impossible”.  Michele said “neither of us are superpowers.” (more…)

Julia Louis Dreyfus was recently on The Ellen Show to discuss the reunion of the Seinfeld cast on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm which will air later this year.  She also discussed The Ellen Show cat which has been spotted wandering through the show’s set on a Webcam that runs when the show is shut down.

Although Julia appeared to not know about The Ellen Show cat or the webcam, she was actually caught on camera shortly after 2:00 in the morning.  First she wandered onto the set and threw the Keep Off sign in Ellen’s chair on the floor.  Then she plooped down into the chair and put her feet up on Ellen’s table.  After that she took the gum she was chewing out of her mouth and put it underneath the table.

Julia got up and looked at the cat food that is left to the Ellen Show cat that lives on the set.  She literally started eating the food and proceeded to sit in the chair on the set and throw handfuls of cat food into her mouth. Finally, she drank the cat’s water and stole the show flowers which were on the table.  But first she played with the cat’s toy.

Growing up my parents were not fans of pets for the obvious parent reasons centering around who would care for any dogs or cats that might move into the family.

As a result we had the typical pets ranging from turtles to frogs and a few gerbils who got lose and disappeared into the basement.

When I was old enough to move out of the house I first had a cat who I loved dearly.  Then I had an adorable Peekapoo puppy from a very small private breeder who was a friend of a friend and was not a puppy mill.   I also had a second cat rescued from a shelter and became the part time adoptive parent to a wonderful Yellow Lab.

As I became full blown workaholic I had to stop adopting pets since I never had the time to devote to their love and attention.

When people ask me if I am a dog person or a cat person, the answer is both.   While I loved my adopted Yellow Lab, I tend to be more of a small dog person and have always really enjoyed Pugs. (more…)
