Ashlee Simpson Wentz was recently seen leaving the Ken Paves West Hollywood Salon on Robertson with her vibrant red hair dyed raven black.

Select photos of her with her newly Raven black tresses were snapped by WENN photographers as she left the Paves salon.

The length was still long but Ashlee also had her fringe and hairline tresses cut into layers which hugged her face along her forehead and edging into her cheeks.

It was a more edgy hairstyle similar to the styles Ashlee had favored during the early days of her singing career when she first went Raven black with her color.

In fact, Ken Paves, who has styled Ashlee’s hair for years was proud of the fact that Ashlee had initially colored her hair darker herself with a little help from her hair colorist and Ken.

Although Ashlee was a vibrant redhead for her role as Violet on The CW’s revised Melrose Place, she is not returning to her music roots and has just announced she will make her Broadway debut later this month playing Roxie Hart.

E Online and People.com recently reported that Jessica Simpson, escorted by Hollywood Mane Man Ken Paves were spotted in New York at dinner together.

Not just dinner, the two news outlets reported that Gerard and Jessica were flirting and making eye contact.

Since that news hit, other tabloids have cooked up even more outrageous reports including Ken blocking Jessica from leaving to spend the evening with Gerard in his hotel room.

Ashlee Simpson Wentz is ready to take on Broadway

Ashlee Simpson Wentz, 25, announced on Monday that she would play Roxie Hart in the musical “Chicago” for 10 weeks, beginning on Nov. 30.  After playing the Orange Bowl and “Saturday Night Live”  Ashlee is going to push her boundaries and perform in New York.

Ashlee is known for her hit CDs “Autobiography” and “I Am Me”.   Ashlee was triumphant as Roxie on the West End in London.  Now she is planning on taking her act to Broadway for her debut.

Most recently, Ash has been a regular on the revived version of “Melrose Place” on the CW network.  Ashlee was cast as the mentally distrubed Violet.   The show’s producers announced last month her character would be written out of the story.

Ashlee has made recent news by supporting her older sister Jessica when the fans and media attacked Jess for her weight changes.  She is also an sometime hair client of Hollywood Mane Man Ken Paves.  Ashlee is married to Pete Wentz and the mother of Bronx.

Hairstyles Of Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is famous for being chatty on Twitter.  She has been known to post pictures of herself in all her hairstyle  variations and evolutions.  Such was the case last June when she showcased a photo of herself with a new short pixie haircut.  In the photo with Kim was her new Hollywood hairdresser, Ken Paves.

Ironically the hairdresser is the longtime hairdresser of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson.  Kim made news some years ago when she was spotted on dates with Jessica’s ex, Nick Lachey, right after the couple divorced.  Apparently Kim’s stepping out with Jessica didn’t case any problems since Kim and Jessica are friendly.

Rewind the time machine to the time of beautiful blonde Jessica Simpson before her reality stardom on The Newlyweds, before she squeezed into those famous sexy Daisy Dukes and before she hit the road some months ago to work on her latest Reality TV venture.

By her side was Hollywood Mane Man Ken Paves who first met “his girl” Jess, as he affectionally calls her, during a bi-coastal hair emergency.  Receiving a call from her then-agents in New York, Ken was asked to catch a red eye to sew her hair back together after a horrible hair incident.

Ken spent the flight from LA to NYC hand sewing hair pieces together for the star he had not even yet met.  Once they did, it was Kismet.  They not only became instant BFFs, they eventually became business partners launching the wildly successful HairDo™ line under the HairUWear brands.

Through the years since that first meeting Ken has coiffed Jessica’s hair into an dizzying array of eye-popping, spectacular hairstyles in a wide range of hues (remember Jess in sultry red?), lengths and textures.  His work with Jessica’s tresses inspired Ken to ultimately partner with his famous client to design and create the latest HairDo™, Jessica Simpson wig and clip-on fringes since he would instantly transform Jess with all of those various hair accessories.
