Khloe Kardashian Embraces Dallas

Khloe Kardashian has just recently moved to Dallas with her husband Lamar Odom who was traded to the Dallas Mavericks.  Already the Kardashian sister is showing her wish to embrace Dallas by putting on a special toy drive for the Children’s Hospital of Dallas.

The star said on her blog:

“Everyone is just so nice (in Dallas) and we already feel at home. So in the spirit of kindness and giving, I’ve decided to host a toy drive for the Children’s Hospital of Dallas so that we can bring smiles to all of the amazing children spending their holiday there.”

Khloe use to do the same thing at home in Los Angeles.  She also wrote on her blog:

“I already do a lot of work with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and now that I live here, I want to start doing work with this hospital.”

The toy drive took place today (Wednesday, 12/21/11) at City Hall Plaza from 12 pm to 2 pm.   Khloe promised all who attended that she would sign autographs and take photos as long as an unwrapped gift was provided.

What a kind and thoughtful thing to do.  Khloe is not only beautiful, she has a big beautiful heart.  I’m sure everyone here in Dallas is going to fall madly in love with Khloe.

All reports indicate that Khloe’s toy drive was a huge success.  Thank you Khloe.  We are so glad you’re here in Dallas now.

Paula Patton Spills Mission Impossible Secrets

Actress Paula Patton co-stars in the new Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol as an agent who kicks some serious booty.

Paula appeared on the Today Show with Hoda and Kathie Lee and discussed how she had just had a baby when she had to get in shape to play a spy.  At the time she got the role her son was just 5 months old.

Paula said even though she had just had a baby with husband Robin Thicke “they hired me anyway and I wanted to do all my own stunts.

I had to do a lot of physical training, which got me back in shape (from the baby) which was a good blessing.”

Role Was A Long Shot

The beautiful actress admitted that getting the role was “a long shot” and she told them “come on guys, don’t waste my time” because sometimes they bring in all the actresses, they want to see everyone.  At the time Paula didn’t they they were really serious about her for the role, but the producers wanted her and “kept pursing her” for the role. Teresa Giudice Husband Joe Indicted

Teresa Giudice is famous for her ongoing role on Bravo TV’s Real Housewives Of New Jersey (RHONJ).  She was one of the original cast members of RHONJ and is one of the remaining housewives.

While Teresa has had lots of personal successes as a result of RHONJ it has also brought the spotlight to the ongoing troubles of her husband Joe.

NorthJersey.com reported that authorities told them that Joe was  indicted by a New Jersey grand jury yesterday (Tuesday) on the charge of fraudulently obtaining a driver’s license.  According to the site, the indictment charges the 40-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey hubby of using false identification and impersonating his brother, Pietro, to obtain a New Jersey driver’s license in June 2010.

The charge of wrongfully using identifying information is punishable by up to 10 years in prison, NorthJersey.com reports. The impersonation charge carries a maximum 18-month prison sentence.

Joe was also in the news in 2009 when he and his wife filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy citing $11 million in debt.  According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Joe was accused of hiding assets from the court. Continue reading “Teresa Giudice Husband Joe Indicted” »

Emily Maynard Next Bachelorette

Beautiful blonde Emily Maynard will be coming back to ABC to be the next Bachelorette.  She will be given another chance at love since her engagement to two time Bachelor Brad Womack failed.

Emily was the fan favorite on The Bachelor season 15 and everyone was rooting for the 25-year-old single mom to win.  After she won Brad’s heart and a stunning engagement ring, things began to unravel until the engagement was kaput.

“It’s basically a done deal,” a source close to Emily told Life and Style, before adding that the single mother of one “hasn’t signed the contract yet, but she’s fully on board.”

The inside source told Life and Style that ABC believes she’s the perfect choice to be the next bachelorette.  ABC reportedly gushed that “Emily is America’s sweetheart. Fans are going to be thrilled! Everyone loved her.”

Emily was engaged to Brad in the season finale of “Bachelor” last March. In July, however, the couple announced that they have decided to end the relationship. At that time, the children’s hospital event planner tweeted, “I don’t want to be the Bachelorette,” but it looks like she may have changed her mind.

Even though Ashley Hubert, the runner up in Emily’s season was The Bachelorette, some of the bachelor expressed disappointment to the camera that Emily wasn’t The Bachlorette.  When Ashley found out she was heart broken.

It’s true that everyone love Emily.  If she’s coming back as ABC’s next Bachelorette the ratings will be through the roof.

X Factor’s Steve Jones May Be Fired

There’s lots of rumors floating around that X Factor host (US) Steve Jones will not be coming back for round two of the reality TV talent show.

The British host is allegedly being fired from his job after he failed to win love of the American audiences during the debut season of Simon Cowell’s show.

The Daily Mirror reported “There have been mistakes and he just doesn’t seem to have the knack for dealing with contestants.”

The Mirror also reported “The executives at Fox have already decided not to renew his contract and so, short of a miracle happening, it is pretty much a done deal that he will not take part next season.”

I can agree that Jones seemed almost wooden when interviewing several of the contestants and unlike Ryan Seacrest who seems to genuinely care about the Idol contestants, Jones appears to be cold hearted about their eliminations.

In fact, Jones infamously blurted out “the dream is over” when announcing the elimination of girl group Lakoda Rayne. Member Hayley Orrantia took over the microphone and corrected the host for his off-script verbal stumble, saying the dream was most certainly not ending at that moment.  Continue reading “X Factor’s Steve Jones May Be Fired” »
