Pamela Anderson is back in the news in a big way.  Besides her new fragrance, which she has been talking about in the media, she has also been talking about a lot of personal things including her sex tapes with ex-husband Tommy Lee, drug use and her life in general.

Pamela was on Ellen recently to introduce Malibu, her new fragrance and to gift Ellen and her wife Portia with individual pairs of “vegan line of beach boots made out of recycled bottles” which are from her line.   She walked out onto the stage with a pink and a blue gift bag for Ellen and one for Portia.

Pam was wearing a short white dress with chocolate brown hued prints of blowers.  Her tousled hair cascaded below her shoulders and was pulled back off her forehead in a small “bump” and appeared to be pinned back towards the crown with bobby pins.

Ellen thanked Pam for the “non animal boots.”   Ellen told the audience you can get Pam’s non animal boots made from recycled products on her web site. (more…)

Ellen greeted Dwayne Johnson, after the audience stopped clapping, whooping and hollering,  when he recently appeared on her talk show by saying “well you have let yourself go.”

Dwayne said “I just said..forget it…you know?”

The talk show hostess replied “you know, I just can’t even bother anymore…WOW..Dwayne you look great. You look fantastic.”

Ellen and Dwayne discussed the fact the last time Dwayne stopped by her show he was just about to host The Kid’s Choice Awards.  The talk show hostess asked “how was that?” and the actor said “it was a great experience”.  He explained what it’s like to have 5,000 kids screaming at the top of the lungs.   It said it’s “crazy”. Hamish Hamilton to Direct 2009 Oscar Telecast

Hamish Hamilton will direct the 82nd Academy Awards telecast, show producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman announced today. It will be Hamilton’s first time directing the Oscar show.

“Hamish is a first-rate live-show director who will bring enthusiasm, experience and a fresh eye to the table,” said Shankman, “he’s also a master of working with all of the latest technology in television production, which speaks to the kind of cutting-edge show Bill and I are planning.

“Adam and I know that having Hamish at the helm will give us the right style and energy for the show we want to produce,” added Mechanic. “And his approach definitely won’t feel like business as usual.”

Hamilton has directed many of today’s most celebrated live televised events including the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards,in addition to live concert performances by such renowned musical artists as U2, Neil Diamond, Josh Groban, Stevie Wonder, and Christina Aguilera, among many others. Ashlee Simpson Wentz was recently seen leaving the Ken Paves West Hollywood Salon on Robertson with her vibrant red hair dyed raven black.

Select photos of her with her newly Raven black tresses were snapped by WENN photographers as she left the Paves salon.

The length was still long but Ashlee also had her fringe and hairline tresses cut into layers which hugged her face along her forehead and edging into her cheeks.

It was a more edgy hairstyle similar to the styles Ashlee had favored during the early days of her singing career when she first went Raven black with her color.

In fact, Ken Paves, who has styled Ashlee’s hair for years was proud of the fact that Ashlee had initially colored her hair darker herself with a little help from her hair colorist and Ken.

Although Ashlee was a vibrant redhead for her role as Violet on The CW’s revised Melrose Place, she is not returning to her music roots and has just announced she will make her Broadway debut later this month playing Roxie Hart.

Ashley Judd Hairstyles

Ashley Judd has been keeping a low profile these days, at least on the Red Carpets.  However, she surfaced on November 10, 2009 for an event honoring her.

The event was held by USA Today and was attended by Ashley, her handsome husband Dario Franchitti and some of her longtime friends such as Mandy Moore, Molly Sims, Morgan Freeman and Ellen Burstyn.

Ashley flew to Beverly Hills to receive the USA Today Hollywood Hero award for her work with YouthAIDS.

In case you’ve been wondering what Ashley is up to these days, the actress is busy attending classes in Public Policy at Harvard in Cambridge.  Instead of playing a role where she is a student, the actress has traded roles and is actually dealing with studying and dealing with grades. (more…)
