Big Brother 11 was my first exposure to the CBS Reality TV show where a group of diverse people move into a secluded house near Burbank, California.

I will confess I became completely obsessed with the BB11 Houseguests (HG) and enjoyed watching my favorite Showmance couple, Jeff and Jordan. Like most of America, I was pulling for Jeff and Jordan and was thrilled when Jordan won (sorry Kevin you were my also one of my favorites).

After BB11 ended I went back and watched all of the other previous seasons of BB.  I’m sure I’m too old at this point to ever be a House Guest on Big Brother, but I have learned a lot after watching the previous Seasons 1-11 and I think as a result I would play the game differently than most. Jeff Was Evicted Last Night from the BIG BROTHER House After HOH Kevin Was Forced To Cast the Tie-Breaking Vote

After being nominated for eviction by Head-of-Household Kevin, Jeff was evicted last night from the BIG BROTHER House when Kevin ended up casting the tie-breaking vote.

On Sunday, Kevin nominated Jeff and Michele for eviction. On Tuesday, Michele won the Power-of-Veto and chose to remove herself from the block. After vetoing one of his own nominations, Kevin was forced to select another Houseguest to put in his place and decided to put Jordan on the block. (more…)

I can not lie.  I have never liked Natalie from the very first episode of Big Brother 11.

My dislike of her has continued to build with each episode, especially when Natalie and Kevin cooked up a Master Plan to cause distrust between the long term alliance of Russell and Jeff by lying to each of them individually.

When Jeff, one of my favorites, was evicted from the BB house this past Thursday evening, September 3rd as a direct result of Natalie’s lie and manipulations, I was beyond disappointed.  Yes, I know it;s a game with rampant manipulations and marathon lying but Natalie takes it to a whole new level.

Compared to Natalie, Ronnie the Rat was a cream puff.

My addiction to the uber popular CBS Reality Show Big Brother has evolved through various stages. Initially I was completely amazed by the concept that a group of 13 people would willingly be locked up in a house without any type of electronic leashes (iPhone, notebook computers, PDAs) or any type of access to the outside world.

The House Guests (HG) can’t even take in paper or pencils because they are not allowed to write anything down. In fact, the women are stripped of lip and eye pencils or lipstick which can be used to track dates or events. Games of memory are very big in the BB game so the producers try to prevent any types of recording by the House Guests.

After I recovered from the shock of them living inside this house completely surrounded by microphones and cameras I became less in awe of their daily experiences. I was able to become more focused on the different personalities and interactions developing in the house. (more…)

Russell Was Evicted Last Night from the BIG BROTHER House by a Unanimous Vote

After being nominated for eviction by Head-of-Household Jeff, Russell was evicted last night from the BIG BROTHER House by a 3-0 vote.

During last night’s live broadcast, Russell, the 24-year-old mixed martial arts fighter from Walnut Creek, Calif. learned his fate and left the BIG BROTHER House. (more…)
