She carried a Kotur miniaudiere and was shimmering with Van Cleef & Arpels sparklers.

Her hair and make-up was flawless.  Celebrity Make-up Artist Matthew VanLeeuwen created presenter Marisa Tomei’s Red Carpet look for the 83rd annual Oscar Awards.

For Marisa Tomei’s gorgeous red carpet look, makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen worked exclusively with Anastasia Beverly Hills product.

Matthew took the Anastasia Highlighting Crème Duo in St Tropez (image #1 below) dipped into the crème blush and applied it in gentle back and forth sweeps across Marisa’s smiling cheeks. (more…)

Amy Adams Blew Kisses To Daughter On Oscars Red Carpet And Confessed To NervesAmy Adams made the rounds of the Red carpet with finance Darren Le Gallo.  Her 2011 Oscar dress is a midnight blue fully sequined L’Wren Scott gown that Amy is “absolutely in love with”.

The 36 year old actress stopped by to chat with Ryan Seacrest on her way into the theater.  Besides her midnight blue gown, Amy was wearing $1.35 million of Cartier emerald and diamond jewelry.

Ryan Seacrest said that Amy whispered in his ear that for the very first time she’s nervous.  The actress who is nominated for a Best Supporting Oscar for her role in The Fighter told Seacrest “I’m really nervous. I think I’m more present than I’ve ever been before so I’m really able to take it in. And I’m really understanding what a big deal it is.”

When asked where she pulled the feistiness from for the role in The Fighter she laughed and said “it’s not that hard for me to pull the feistiness.”  And the right hook?  Laughing she said “that I had to practice.  I practiced that a little bit, but it’s in there.  I’ve got some boxing in me.”

In some of the kissing scenes Amy confessed that Mark Wahlberg was directed to make the kissing really sloppy. Amy said “they wanted him to appear hungry and passionate and lusty. (more…)

Celeb Stylist Alissa Marciana Explains Secrets Of Celeb Backless, Barely There Red Carpet GownsCatt Sadler at The E Countdown To The 2011 Academy Awards Red Carpet examined the secrets celebrities and their stylists use to keep backless, low cut and barely-there gowns smooth and sexy.  Catt asked Celebrity Stylist Alissia Marciana how the stars keep from falling out of their gorgeous gowns on the Red Carpets.

Indeed, both the designers, the stylists and the stars do their best to avoid booty baring disasters.   Marciano explained how celebrities keep their backless gowns perfectly in place on their bodies.  Afterall, backless gowns are a huge trend on the Red Carpets right now as demonstrated by Anne Hathaway who wore a breathtaking backless Armani Prive sparkly gown at the recent Golden Globes.

Self-Adhesive Breast Cups

Marciana explained that the gorgeous Hathaway’s stylist most likely created the star’s lift and perky bust line with self-adhesive breast cups.   Anyone can purchase the self-adhesive breast cups.  Marciana demonstrated how to use them on a model.  She pointed out that the cups go in the front just like a regular bra and it provides lots of lift and cleavage depending on where you place the cups. Biggest Loser, Who Do You Think You Are & The Sing Off Are Picked Up By NBCUNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – February 22, 2011 — NBC issued pickups for three returning alternative series in 2011-12 in “The Biggest Loser,” “Who Do You Think You Are?” and the singing competition series “The Sing-Off.”  The announcement was made today by Bob Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment.

“Alternative series such as these three bona fide hits are important not only to their loyal audiences but also as strong components of the NBC schedule,” said Greenblatt. “They are each unique, attention-getting shows with terrific producing and talent auspices, and we’re proud to be associated with them.”

The Biggest Loser

“The Biggest Loser 10″ averaged a 3.1 rating, 8 share in adults 18-49 and 8.3 million viewers overall in the fall and “The Biggest Loser 11″ is averaging a 3.3/9 in 18-49 and 9.0 million viewers overall so far this winter. “The Biggest Loser” is NBC’s #1 entertainment series among women 18-49 and women 25-54.
