In case you’re not an American Idol fan, Ryan John Seacrest (born December 24, 1974) is an American radio, television host, and television producer.

He is the host of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, a nationally-syndicated Top 40 radio show that airs on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles and throughout the United States and Canada on Premiere Radio Networks, and the internationally-syndicated chart show American Top 40, also syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks.

On television, Seacrest hosts E! News, and American Idol.  He also produces several reality TV shows including E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” amongst other shows.

Ryan is an ongoing presence on the Red Carpets for the key shows such as The Emmys, The Oscars, The Golden Globes and similar awards shows.  Ryan is known for his on-air spontaneous interviews with celebrities.  Although a majority of the celebrities seem to enjoy chatting with Ryan, there has been controversy at times. Ryan Seacrest interviewed Mariah Carey on the 2010 Oscar Red Carpet for E!  Mariah was in the movie “Precious”.  Ryan pointed out to Mariah that “Precious” just won for best film at the recent Independent Spirit Awards.

Ryan said “of course with Mariah is her husband Nick Cannon.  So let’s start with the lady in the dress.”  Ryan held up Mariah’s hand.  Ryan said to Nick “you tell me what it was like getting ready for tonight.”

Ryan asked Nick to interview Mariah on what it took to get ready for the Red Carpet.  Ryan handed Nick the microphone and Nick said to Mariah “what do we have to go through (to get ready for tonight?”)  then Nick said “I sit around until the last five minutes.”  Mariah said “and then he walks about” Nick interrupted “in my drawls” and Mariah said “and everybody’s like” and then Nick interrupted and said “it’s like a thousand people making sure this (he pointed to Mariah) is perfection”.

Unfortunately Nick and Mariah were both talking at the very same time so it was hard to understand what either of them were saying but the bottom line was that it appears there is chaos in their house while they are getting ready for the Red Carpet. (more…)

Lady Ga Ga is known as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.  She was born March 28, 1986.  The gorgeous star who performs under the stage name Lady Ga Ga or sometimes Lady Gaga.

Ga Ga is famous for her white platinum blonde hair color and her spectacular hairstyles.

She is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She began her career as a songwriter for established artists, including Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block, as well as American singer and producer Akon.

After Akon recognized that Lady Ga Ga also had vocal talent, he signed her to a joint deal with his own label, Kon Live Distribution, and then she started to work on her own new material for her debut album.

Ga Ga released her debut album The Fame in 2008, which she explained was “about how anyone can feel famous”. (more…)

The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization announced today that Jasmine Murray, Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen 2007, made it into the Top 13 on American Idol. Murray was one of four contestants chosen by the judges during Thursday night’s Wild Card competition.

Murray was a top 10 finalist at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and has received recognition for her outstanding community service with the U.S. Dream Academy. She was also a special guest performer at Miss America 2008.

Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, the “little sister” to the Miss America Organization, is a scholarship-based program offering accomplished teens the opportunity to be awarded funds for college.

The program promotes scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement for America’s teens. In the past four years, the organization has made available more than $3 million in college scholarships. (more…)
