Brad Pitt Gathering Award Noms

Brad Pitt is having a great year and now he’s racking up the awards.  It was announced today that he’s been nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Moneyball.  He was also recently nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award (SAG) and a Spirit award.

Hollywood insiders are speculating that he will also be nominated for the Oscars as well.  Often the Globe nominations are closely tied to the Oscars so it very likely Brad’s name will be on the Academy’s list for 2012.

It was also announced that he will be honored at the Palm Springs Film Festival to celebrate his amazing work in Moneyball and Tree of Life.
