Kim Cattrall Not Feeling Love On Broadway
Kim Cattrall was excited about her role in Noel Coward’s Private Lives currently playing on Broadway. She stopped by to see Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee to discuss the role and how much she loved Broadway.
Unfortunately ticket sales have been poor and the comedy, expected to run until February 5th has decided to close on December 31st instead. The Broadway revival of the show starring Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross just didn’t get the crowds that were desired.
Producer Paul Elliot told the media about the early closing of the show “Ticket sales have been slower than we had hoped for, and it would be irresponsible to continue running into the notoriously difficult January period.”
The show was well received but maybe this is just not the best time of the year for visiting Broadway. Hopefully anyone still wishing to see the show will get there before the early closing.
