Jessica Lange Nabs SAG Nomination For American Horror Story
Jessica Lange is chilling in FX/TV’s American Horror Story as Constance. Her delivery is straight out of Tennessee Williams and TV Guide reports that Jessica does her creepy voice even when the cameras aren’t rolling.
She absolutely perfect as the creepy next door neighbor to a haunted house who has birthed three unusual children, takes much younger men as her lovers and talks to ghosts.
She also torments her neighbors (Ben played by Dylan McDermott and Viv played by Connie Britton) with a variety of tricks.
The powers that be seem to agree. She was awarded a nomination for a Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
Although Jessica has some competition from Kathy Bates who plays Harriet Korn in Harry’s Law, Glenn Close as Patty Hewes in Damages, Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick in The Good Wife and Kyra Sedgwick as Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, hopefully her spectacular performance will put her in the winner’s circle.
