As if Kim Kardashian’s life isn’t already a hairy mess, TMZ has reported that the reality TV star is being sued by a hair removal company claiming that she’s misleading hair consumers about eliminating unwanted hair.
Kim is the celebrity spokesperson for TRIA, a home laser hair-removal system. In fact, Kim just signed a new 18-month deal as the company’s celebrity spokesperson.
The about to be ex-Mrs. Kris Humphries claims she uses TRIA over her entire body but Radiant, a competitor to TRIA which sells no!no! hair says that it’s not safe to use TRIA on the face, head, ears, neck, nipples, genitals or anus.
Radiant is claiming in their lawsuit that Kim is deceiving the public with her pitch which states You’ll never need razors or shaving cream again.” According to the lawsuit, TRIA’s instructions note the product is supposed to be used in concert with shaving.
Kim has said many times that she’s been getting professional hair removal treatments for more than a decade, so Radiant wants to know how she can possibly say TRIA is her secret. Radiant wants TRIA and Kim to stop making the alleged false claims and is seeking unspecified damages.
Ironically the lawsuits swirling around Kim Kardashian are allegedly growing rapidly. Maybe she should have a new reality TV series titled Keeping Up With The Kim Kardashian Legal Matters.
