Hairstyles In Pregnancy

Jessica Simpson Long Glad Side Braided Hairstyle

Hairstyles In Pregnancy

When you’re pregnant the last thing you want to worry about is having bad hair days.  All those hormones often help the hair to grow faster, thicker, fuller and take on an amazing lushness.

On the downside pregnancy can sometimes increase frizz, change the texture and cause challenges with unmanageability.  It’s always good to find hairstyles during pregnancy which are easy to create and minimize bad hair days.  You may not wish to make any drastic changes to your current hairstyle, but certainly keep your hair looking great.

Long sensual braids, side ponytails and soft buns are perfect hairstyles in pregnancy to look chic, but comfortable.

Jessica Simpson announced her first pregnancy on Halloween 2011 by dressing in a Mummy costume and telling the press she was going to be a new mummy in 2012.

Jessica is almost as famous for her many hairstyles, add-on hair extensions and fashion lines as she is for her career as a singer.  It’s no surprise she’s been wearing her pregnancy hair in an array of beautiful long braids and side ponytails.  Jessica has always been partial to braids and has worn her hair shoulder length or longer for the majority of her career.

Listed below are some easy, but chic hairstyles to wear during pregnancy to look stunning.

Messy Glam Side Braided Hairstyle

This hairstyle can be created on any type or texture of hair which has been ironed or styled straight. Ideally hair should either be long or enhanced with clip-in or fusion hair which is very appropriate for Jessica’s hair wardrobe.  If you don’t want to mess with ironing your hair or blow drying it straight, you can just clip in a long braid.   Continue reading “Hairstyles In Pregnancy” »

How Do You Get Curly Hair

Allesandro Ambrosio With Long Curly Hair

How Do You Get Curly Hair

The best way to get curly hair is to be born with it.  Although there has been a Love Your Curls Movement gathering popularity for the past 10+ years, not everyone is going to always love their natural hair texture.  Ultimately everyone should wear their hair however they love it best.

If you were born with curly hair the key is to learn to properly love it and care for it so that you eliminate any known curl challenges such as frizz, fuzz or uncontrollable clumps.

With the proper curl friendly haircuts, products and daily care anyone can have beautiful curls, regardless of their age, sex, ethnic background, color or length of hair.

If you weren’t born with natural texture you can still get curly hair with a variety of options which are listed below:

1.  Start With The Proper Hair Cut

If your natural hair is bone straight, you can still get curly hair with the proper hair cut which should be crated into strategically placed long layers to help your hair initially achieve and then maintain curls.

Long sexy layers are a curly hair secret of Victoria Secret model curls showcased by the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. Continue reading “How Do You Get Curly Hair” »

Below The Shoulder Curly Ringlets

Best Hairstyles In Curly Hair How To

The best hairstyles in curly hair are styles which work in harmony with your hair, whether the curls are natural are not.  Curly hair can be naturally bestowed or created on naturally straight, wavy or mixed hair.

Whether the curls are naturally occurring or created with chemicals or styling tools the following steps show you how to create the best hairstyles:

-  If your hair is naturally curly, start by visiting your hairstylist and ask them to trim your hair so that the natural curls nestle together to create beautiful ringlets, loops, coils or clumps.  This is a key first step in achieving the best hairstyles in curly hair.   When your hair is curly as a result of chemical treatments (perms) or you use hot or cold styling tools then make sure your hair is cut to encourage maximum curl formation.

- Once your hair is trimmed to enhance your natural or chemically created curl profile take the time to evaluate the best products and cleansing methods to ensure your curls are hydrated and healthy.

Natural curls require lots of hydration to help the curls form properly without frizz or fuzz.  Chemically created curls also need hydration in order to offset any hair dryness or damage resulting from the chemicals.

-  After your hair has been trimmed and cleansed to curl beautifully you can wear your hair in a variety of hairstyles to showcase  the texture, whether it’s natural or created with chemicals or tools. Continue reading “Best Hairstyles In Curly Hair How To” »
