Minnie Driver Hair How To
Naturally curly haired Minnie Driver has recently hit the top of the search engines as a result of being spotted kissing her tanned model boyfriend, Matt Felker, in Malibu on Sunday.
Us Weekly reports that the “Good Will Hunting” actress was photographed getting cozy with Felker, who is best known for his appearance in Britney Spears’ “Toxic” music video in 2004. Felker also appeared in the TV movies “Flashpoint” and “Dirty Famous.”
Driver, 41, has been romantically linked in the past to Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Harrison Ford, John Cusack and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. The English actress gave birth to her son Henry Story Driver in September 2008, but never revealed the baby’s father. It was a very big secret that to date has not been revealed.
Unlike other naturally textured actresses, Minnie honors her curls and wears them in their full glory whenever possible.
Although Minnie has been known to wear her curly hair straight when a role or Red Carpet requires her to do so, she is seen most often with her long brown tresses coiffed in beautiful ringlets.Minnie Driver Hair How To
One key to Minnie’s long beautifully formed ringlets is the fact that she keeps them soft, hydrated and frizz free. Follow the steps below to recreate Minnie’s gorgeous natural curls.
1. Start your own frizz-free, fabulous curl infused hair style with a hydrating cleansing formula designed to work for all hair types. Cleanse detangled hair in lukewarm water. If your hair is naturally dry, damaged or in need or special care, consider doing a Diluted Shampoo (DS) cleanse, a Conditioner Only Wash (CO) or some other method of gentle cleansing.
2. Rinse cleansing formula from hair and apply a rinse-out conditioner designed for your hair type, texture and condition from the ears to the ends.
3. Use a wide tooth comb and/or fingers and detangle individual horizontal sections working slowly up from the ends to the roots.
4. After hair is detangled rinse well and then finish with a cool or cold water rinse.
5. Towel blot hair to remove excess moisture.
6. While hair is still soaking wet apply a frizz busting thermal protection formula to attack frizz before the hair dries. This helps protect hair from heat and UV exposure. Use sparingly, dispensing 1-2 pumps of serum into palm. Rub hands together and distribute evenly. Comb through with your hands or a wide-tooth comb. Avoid applying directly to the roots. Use more or less depending on hair’s length and thickness.
7. Next, apply curl perfecting spray, cream or mousse to boost natural curl and add additional conditioning power.
8. Use a diffuser to dry hair, letting the strands rest in the diffuser’s coils. Make sure to use low heat and avoid over-drying tresses.
9. Finish the look with a moisture barrier firm hold hairspray to seal out humidity and make sure hair stays frizz-free and soft.
