Jill Zarin, considered to be one of America’s favorite housewives on The Real Housewives Of New York City (RHONYC) has been a top trending topic on Yahoo and Google over the past few days.
Why? It was claimed by the media that Jill was being axed from the popular Bravo/TV reality show along with Cindy Barshop, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord.
Jill’s firing from Bravo was misreported. A rep for the 47-year-old reality star told Us Weekly that “Jill has not been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City. The truth is that Jill is still in discussions with Bravo for season 5 and hasn’t made a final decision about returning to the show.”
Jill Zarin’s Fans Threatening To Boycott The Show
Jill’s fans were so upset by the rumors they threatened to boycott the show. Even more interesting, rumors were flying that the only remaining RHONYC cast members would be LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan. Other housewives would be added at a later date, according to various media reports.
Although Singer is reportedly in the middle of negotiating a new contract, sources say that McCord and Bensimon were definitely on the chopping block.
