About Gerald D. Ginsberg, MD, F.A.C.S.

Gerald D. Ginsberg is a highly esteemed plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgeon in private practice in New York City since 1983. Dr. Ginsberg serves as the Director of Plastic Surgery at New York Downtown Hospital, a member of the prestigious NewYork Presbyterian Healthcare System and an academic affiliate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Dr. Ginsberg has extensive experience in plastic surgery, including cosmetic facial surgery, breast surgery, body lifting and liposuction. Dr. Ginsberg is board Certified in Plastic Surgery, and received his M.D. degree from Northwestern University.

He completed residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery and a fellowship in Hand Surgery at NYU Medical Center.  He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
