Catherine Zeta-Jones Glam Updo Hairstyle Wows At Tony Awards

Coiffed in a glam updo hairstyle actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, 41, wowed the media as a presenter at the 2011 Tony Awards held Sunday night in New York City.

Showing incredible poise and elegance the Welsh actress presented two Tony trophies to two actors for their performances on Broadway.

She presented Mark Rylance (Jerusalem) the Tony Award for best actor in a leading role in a play.  She also presented Norbert Leo Butz (Catch Me If You Can) for best actor in a leading role for a musical.

Glam Updo Hairstyle

Zeta-Jones dazzled in an eye popping, mouth dropping red sequined Elie Saab gown which hugged every curve showing her amazing body.  She wore her long milk chocolate tresses pulled tightly off her hairline into the glam updo hairstyle based upon a precise center part extending from the front of her hairline.

The length of her hair was pulled sleekly back over her ears and wrapped around the back of her head into the glam updo hairstyle accented with barrel style curls tucked inside the sleek panels of hair.

Catherine’s choice of sleek shimmering hair twist was perfect for the stunning Saab gown.  By wearing her hair pulled up and back off her face all eyes were focused on the gorgeous gown.  Catherine Zetz-Jones completed her glamorous look with jewels by van Cleef and Arpels.

All eyes were on Catherine Zeta-Jones because it was the Oscar- and Tony-winning actress’ first appearances since mid-April, when she briefly checked into a mental health facility, seeking treatment for Bipolar II disorder.

The wife of actor Michael Douglas, 66, Catherine experienced a battle with her mental health during her husband’s public fight with stage-four throat cancer.

When asked about his wife Douglas told Us Weekly that his wife is doing great.

The actress is currently shooting the rock musical Rock of Ages in Miami with Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Malin Akerman and Mary J. Blige.
