Ashley Hebert was recently announced as the new Bachelorette.

Ironically she was a blonde throughout the recent season with Brad Womack where she was eliminated before the final two Bachelorettes.  When Ashley H, as she was known on the show, appeared on the episode – The Women Tell All – she was a brunette.

She also was brunette when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel to formally announce she was ABC’s latest Bachelorette.

In addition to her darker tresses, Ashley had added long below-the-eyebrow bangs which had slight separation in the middle.

The new fringe extended back several inches and had a slight part on one die.

Fans are weighing in by voting on various websites with their preferences about her new darker hue.

On The Hollywood Gossip site visitors have voted 65.5% to 34.5% for blonde over brunette.  I have to say I would agree.  I thought when she was blonde it really opened up her face, her skin and her eyes.  Her brunette hue doesn’t seem as flattering to me and makes her skin and eyes look drab.

One of the great advantages to being a Bachelorette is the access to great hair, make-up and fashion stylists provided by the show.  Hopefully Ashley will be completely made over like previous Bachelorettes to showcase their best looks.
