FHI HEAT® INTRODUCES KORE™ STYLING IRONS AND CURLING IRONS

The new world-class tools for the seriously sensational stylist

FHI HEAT® Introduces KORE™ Styling Irons And Curling IronsCleveland—March 12, 2011—FHI Heat® introduces KORE™, a line of premium professional Styling Irons and Marcel and Spring Grip Curling Irons for stylists who want the most advanced tools possible.

Just a few technological and design innovations that prove that KORE is “where science supports artistry” include anodized aluminum plates, a Carpal Relief System™ (in the Marcel Curling Iron), a silicone suspension system to drive the Styling Iron plates and Nano Fuzeion™ technology, which ensures optimum condition and shine. KORE is built to meet the demands of professional stylists who know that they need the most reliable, best-performing tools available in order to do their best work.

The KORE Styling Irons and Spring Curling Irons will debut this weekend at America’s Beauty Show in Chicago and immediately following at Aspen Fashion Week in Aspen, CO, for which FHI Heat is a signature sponsor. The KORE Marcel Curling Irons, Blow Dryer and KORE Shears collection, as well as the KORE world-class stylist education program, will launch in June.

FHI HEAT® Introduces KORE™ Styling Irons And Curling IronsKORE Styling Irons are the answer to every salon styling challenge, whether it’s getting the kinks out of frizzy, wavy or curly hair for a silky smooth, glossy finish or simply building volume at the base to give dimensional shape to fine, limp hair.

Available in three sizes—1/2-inch, 1-inch and 1 ½-inch—KORE Styling Irons offer the widest temperature range from 140° to 450°F (60°C-232°C). They heat up twice as fast as the typical PTFC heater (the most widely used heater in styling irons), thanks to FHI Heat’s newest generation oversized ceramic heater with RapidTek™ technology. And, they reliably stay at the selected heat throughout styling. As a result, you can style the hair with just one pass of the iron per section, saving time and reducing thermal tress stress.

Featuring Anodized Aluminum Plates

The KORE Styling Irons feature anodized aluminum plates that provide an ultra-smooth, sealed, non-porous surface, making them ideal for use during smoothing services, such as keratin treatments. Anodized aluminum efficiently conducts heat, resulting in very even heating across the entire styling surface.

These anodized plates are so durable that they are second in hardness only to diamonds and have a melting point of 1221° F! The anodizing process creates a deep rich metallic luster that will not fade or tarnish over time, is resistant to chipping, peeling and scratching and is extremely easy to maintain. Plus, the anodizing process is non-harmful, has virtually no environmental impact and creates aluminum surfaces that are fully recyclable.

In addition, FHI Heat’s silicone suspension system features floating plates supported by silicone tubes that relieve tension and cushion the hair to avoid pulling and help distribute the heat evenly.

FHI Heat’s Proprietary Non-Fuzeion™ Technology

FHI HEAT® Introduces KORE™ Styling Irons And Curling IronsOf course, KORE irons also contain FHI Heat’s proprietary Nano-Fuzeion™ technology, a unique combination of Nano-Titanium, Nano-Titanium Oxide and Nano-Silver particles that leaves the hair soft and shiny, while removing chemical build-up, toxins, bacteria, static and impurities. Tourmaline seals in moisture and color, leaving the hair silky smooth and shiny.

The FHI Heat KORE Spring Grip Curling Irons and Marcel Curling Irons are the most professional and sophisticated thermal tools available for creating ringlets, spirals and waves exactly where and how you want them. They’re available in three classic sizes—¾-inch for a tight curl pattern, a medium-sized 1-inch barrel and the big daddy 1 ¼-inch barrel for large voluminous waving.

The KORE Curling Irons offer the widest temperature range available—200° to 410°F (60°-232°C)—and heat up fast, thanks to FHI heat’s newest generation oversized ceramic RapidTek™ heater. In fact, it heats up five times faster than the typical copper coil heaters, which are commonly used in other curling irons. As a result, once you choose the desired styling temperature, the iron holds it, enhancing the memory of the curl or wave for consistent, long-lasting results. The KORE Marcel Curling Irons feature a Carpal Relief System,™ which utilizes helper springs for ease of clamping. Spring grip irons have an easy-to-use spring grip, which reduces hand fatigue as you work. A cool-touch tip prevents burns to fingers.

KORE Curling Irons Feature Anodized Aluminum Barrels

The KORE Curling Irons feature anodized aluminum barrels, which provide an ultra smooth, non-stick surface. Anodized aluminum efficiently conducts heat, resulting in very even heating across the entire styling surface. Anodizing creates a sealed, non-porous surface that makes it ideal for upstyling and eases slippage when hair spray is used. These anodized barrels are so durable that they are second in hardness only to diamonds and have a melting point of 1221° F!

Just like the KORE Styling Irons, the KORE Curling Irons also contain FHI Heat’s proprietary Nano-Fuzeion™ technology, a unique combination of Nano-Titanium, Nano-Titanium Oxide and Nano-Silver particles that leaves the hair soft and shiny, while removing chemical build-up, toxins, bacteria, static and impurities. Tourmaline seals in moisture and color, leaving the hair silky smooth and shiny.

Suggested retail price for KORE Styling Irons and Curling Irons is $225.00 each.  FHI Heat® makes tools that empower stylists to reveal their creativity. The revolutionary KORE™ line of professional tools stays true to that mission by delivering innovative products and inspirational education.

KORE celebrates the creativity and passion that fuels stylists to pursue their craft. For more information, visit www.fhiheat.com or call 877-FHI-HEAT.
