Sandra Bullock’s Gorgeous Texture Infused 2011 Oscar Hairstyle HowTo Hints
Celebrity Hairstylist David Babaii is known for achieving red carpet perfection. He created a fabulous “Texture Infusion” for Sandra Bullock’s 2011 Oscar look. The beautiful brunette was spectacular in a strapless red Vera Wang gown which hugged her stunning figure in all the right places.
She told the media that her son helped her pick out her gown. Sandy was charming as the presented for Best Performance by a Male Actor and teased the group of nominees. She seemed touched when she presented the Oscar to actor Colin Firth.
Sandra has naturally curly hair, but her texture infusion hairstyle was a perfect blend of texture throughout the top combined with a great chignon positioned at the back of her head.
How To Steps
To achieve David’s Texture Infusion like he did for Sandra Bullock follow the steps below:
1. Start with a clean canvas by rinsing out all the shampoo and conditioner from the hair.
2. After gently towel drying the tresses, David applied Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment to the hair, using a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute the product. The Pequi Oil tames frizz and mends split ends while providing hair with incredible softness and shine.
3. Then David dried Sandra’s hair with a round brush for a smooth finish.
4. Once dry, David applied additional Pequi Oil and brushed Sandra’s hair straight back off her face.
5. With the IT&LY HAIRFASHION Digital Styling Iron, he took random half inch sections starting at the front and twisted the hair. Once the strand was twisted he took the flat iron and pressed down the entire length of the strand to set in a wavy texture into the tresses.
6. Allow each strand to cool and release itself naturally.
7. David continued taking half inch sections throughout the front half of the star’s head until he achieved enough texture.
8. When complete, he applied additional Pequi Oil to his hands to finger comb the hair back into a ponytail above the nape area.
9. He then wrapped her hair around the band and secured with bobby pins allowing any loose hairs to fall naturally.
