Audrina Patridge Shares 2011 Hottest Bikini & Swimwear Trends On E’s Countdown To Red Carpets
Catt Sadler and The Hill’s Star, Audrina Patridge hosted a special swimwear fashion show on E’s Countdown To The Red Carpet to spotlight the hottest new trends for 2011 swimwear.
Sadler pointed out that swimwear has played a key part in many movies on the Silver Screen for years including special appearances of bikini clad stars like Bo Derek in 10 and Halle Berry as a famous Bond girl. Of course there was also Jessica Simpson flashed on the screen in her famous red bikini.
Images of Audrina in her bikini were also flashed on the screen in the background. Sadler pointed out that no one wears a bikini better than Audrina Patridge. A lot of people would definitely agree with that assessment. Bongo does, which is why they selected Audrina to be their celebrity spokes model.
What are the top swimwear trends for 2011?
Models wearing the hottest new bikinis from Bongo were featured. Listed below are the hottest trends for swimwear in 2011 according to Audrina Patridge:
#1 - Animal Prints – Jungle Vibes
Audrina said that one of the hottest new swim wear trends is animal prints. She noted that Bongo has a wonderful collection of jungle inspired swimwear themes ranging from zebra to leopard. Audrina said that the hottest looks are two-piece leopard string bikinis with little accent strings on the side.
#2 – Sexy Cutouts & Studs
Another hot trend are bikinis with cutout accents and stud details. A model wearing a two piece black bikini with cutouts and studded details modeled the sizzling look. Audrina pointed out the second black bikini had a different rocker look and was definitely edgy.
Adrina explained that every girl should have a basic black bikini, a girly suit with ruffles or similar and an edgy suit. Adrina said she loves to have a variety of bikinis to choose from.
#3 - Metallic Looks With Metal Detailing
The third Bongo bikini was a two piece in a gun metal hue with silver metal detailing along the top.
#4 - Butter Yellow
The fourth Bongo bikini was shown in a gorgeous lemon yellow bandeau style with an optional halter top. Audrina said bandeau styles are very popular for 2011 and halter tops are also hot.
#5 - Neon Colors
Following the trend for neon nail polish, jewels and accessories are Bongo bikinis and swimwear. The fifth and last bikini was also a bandeau style with a versatile halter string top in a hot pink top with a black bottom. Audrina again pointed out the string halter could either be tied or untied depending on the circumstance.
Catt Sadler said the neon colors are a return to the 80s. Audrina agreed and pointed out the 80s are coming back. She also said the Bongo bikini with the hot pink top was one of her personal favorites.
