When it comes to fashion, Britian’s Helena Bonham Carter is truly a mixed bag of tricks.  Listed by E’s Fashion Police as one of the top five celebrities to watch on the Oscar 2011 Red Carpet, Carter indeed was watchable.   Carter, 44, was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The King’s Speech.

Although she lost The Best Supporting Actress award, Carter won the adoration of E’s Kelly Osbourne who has been crushing on Carter throughout the entire awards season.

While live on E! News during the Academy Awards Red Carpet broadcast Kelly expressed her admiration.

She said to Carter  “I adore you. I love the way that you dress, I love the way you come on the carpet and you set a standard and don’t care what people think. You look beautiful tonight. I am obsessed with you.”   Carter returned the favor telling Kelly “I love you too.”  It was a very touching moment.

Mass Of Curls Piled High On Top Of Head

While many fashionistas deemed Carter to be one of the worst dressed at the  2011 Oscars, some placed her on the best list.  Vanity Fair was one of the magazines which listed her as best dressed.

Ironically, the star who was dressed by Oscar winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, was spotted wearing a flip flop shoe accessory pinned into her mass of chocolate brown shimmering curls which were piled high on her head.   Although Carter’s curls appeared to be unrestrained, at further examination her tresses were masterfully coiffed to give the impression of free form ringlet cascades. Actress Hailee Steinfeld, the beautiful and poised 14 year old Oscar nominated actress who played Mattie Ross in True Grit will be back on the Red Carpet before we know it.   Although she didn’t win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, the young performer has caught the eye of other movie directors.  The adorable starlet is here to stay.

It has been confirmed that Hailee has spoken with the director of the new movie, The Hunger Games.  She is under consideration for the role of Katniss Everdeen.

The 14 year old is also famous for her long lush chocolate brown tresses which she wears in a range of styles from long sleek ponytails to chic updos studded with perfectly formed barrel curls.

Speaking to MTV News, Hailee said she has a ‘lot of projects that we’re looking at the moment’ but said she has met with the film’s director Gary Ross.  She added: ‘It’s definitely something that we’re taking one day at a time and making sure that everything is in place.’

Hailee was the darling of the recent award season Red Carpets. She confessed that even with all the attention directed upon her, she also still a fan.

She told the media “it’s crazy and so much fun” to see all the big name stars “like left and right, oh my god.  Oh my gosh.  I’m really blessed to be here.   She  also said “I can’t believe it just five or six years ago I was just a girl on on a quest for commercials.  Now I’m here so it’s amazing.”

The arrival of actress Mila Kunis was highly anticipated on last night’s 2011 Academy Awards Red Carpet.  Even before the arrivals started the E Fashion Police named Mila one of five to watch for their fashion style. She didn’t disappoint in a soft lilac hued Elie Saab gown with gorgeous lace accents.

Mila was wearing her hair with a deep side swept bangs which covered one eyebrow.  Her hair was swept into a finger picked side chignon with S waves throughout.  “The Black Swan co-star who made headlines for kissing Natalie Portman in the film stopped by to chat with E’s Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest asked the actress “how did you get the part in Black Swan?”  The actress explained “I met Darren (Aronosky) on Skype on my computer.” Seacrest seemed surprised “on Skype?” Mila explained “to be technical it was iChat. Yes.”

Seacrest asked “and what do you think impressed him in that conversation? On a computer?”

The Black Swan supporting actress looked perfectly coiffed in a  chic  Grecian inspired updo.

Her chocolate brown strands had hints of beautiful lighter chocolate highlights which played off her beautiful skin and eyes.

Listed below are the steps which TRESemmés celebrity stylist Mara Roszak took to create Mila’s stunning romantic updo.

1.  Apply TRESemmé Naturals Mousse to wet hair. Dry it, parting the hair to one side.
2.  Use a 1” barrel curling iron, curl strands away from the face in sections.
3.  Brush out curled sections of hair with fingertips. Form an “S” wave around the face.
4.  Pull  hair softly into a messy side positioned chignon.
5.  Spray finished hairstyle with TRESemmé Naturals Finishing Spray for a soft-hold finish.

Mila has what appears to be naturally wavy hair which falls below her shoulders.  It appears to be medium in thickness.  The hairstyle if created with a soft side swept bang and a side part.

This is a gorgeous and versatile hairstyle which can be adapted for a Spring Prom, a Summer wedding or any special hair event.  It’s ultra-feminine and looks amazing, especially with soft feminine fashions.
