Victoria Platt’s Natural Curls On ABC’s The Gates
Natural curly girl Victoria Platt plays small town doctor and herbologist, Peg, in ABC’s The Gates, a series which delves into the well-kept secrets of a mysterious gated community.
Victoria plays the local doctor-healer who favors homeopathic remedies and dispenses natural remedies to her unique clientele which includes vampires, a female succubus and werewolves. The laid back Peg hides the truth behind the magic of her successful herbal and alternative treatments.
She is known for giving excellent personalized care to her patients. She’s also known for her discretion – something certain residents in The Gates value above all else. Her kindness and wisdom make her a wonderful friend as well as doctor. She is also a mother of a daughter.
It makes sense that a physican who is dedicated to herbal drops, special teas and nutrients would wear her gorgeous natural curls all natural. Peg dresses casually but always looks very chic which is appropriate for the monied residents in the Gates.

If you’ve never heard of Victoria Platt or her gorgeous medium length honey colored ringlets it’s not because she hasn’t been on the acting circuit before. In fact, Platt has an impressive list of credits.
Platt’s recent feature credits include My Girlfriend’s Back, opposite Malik Yoba, and Bill Duke’s Cover. She also played iconic entertainer Josephine Baker in the HBO original movie Winchell, and can be seen in the upcoming Jonah Hex, starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox.
Platt’s television work includes guest starring roles in CSI: Miami, Strong Medicine, Crossing Jordan and Barbershop. She was known to soap opera fans for her role as Vicky Spaulding on Guiding Light.
Victoria Platt On Broadway
On Broadway, Platt played opposite Gregory Hines in Jelly’s Last Jam, and completed a run of the musical Sammy as Sammy Davis Jr.’s wife, Altovise. Other theatre credits include Women of Plums at the Kennedy Center, Venice at the Kirk Douglas Theater, Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum, and Atlanta at the Geffen Playhouse.
Platt was nominated for two NAACP Theatre Awards for her roles in Opening Doors, which she also co-produced, and Hope Runs Eternal.
