As originally reported by ConactMusic.com and People.com Miley Cyrus supposedly kept the crew on her private jet waiting for four hours earlier this week after deciding to stop by a hair salon in New York before flying to Los Angeles.

The 17 year old star of “Hannah Montana” was in New York to promote “The Last Song”, her latest movie.  She was on her way to LA to film an appearance of Fox TV’s American Idol.

At the last minute, before boarding the plane, Miley felt the need to head over to Manhattan’s Gemini 14 salon to get highlights and hair extensions from her stylist, Kristina Vidov.

Seriously?  I guess only a celebrity of Miley’s standing could just pop into a salon and expect to receive such time consuming services.  I personally am surprised she didn’t make the jet crew wait even longer since both services combined can be time consuming.

Miley took the American Idol stage on Wednesday night (March 24) to perform her new son “When I Look At You.”  At least her hair looked good.  Right?
