Ryan Seacrest Has Great Hair And Is Hardworking And Generous

In case you’re not an American Idol fan, Ryan John Seacrest (born December 24, 1974) is an American radio, television host, and television producer.

He is the host of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, a nationally-syndicated Top 40 radio show that airs on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles and throughout the United States and Canada on Premiere Radio Networks, and the internationally-syndicated chart show American Top 40, also syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks.

On television, Seacrest hosts E! News, and American Idol. He also produces several reality TV shows including E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” amongst other shows.

Ryan is an ongoing presence on the Red Carpets for the key shows such as The Emmys, The Oscars, The Golden Globes and similar awards shows. Ryan is known for his on-air spontaneous interviews with celebrities. Although a majority of the celebrities seem to enjoy chatting with Ryan, there has been controversy at times.

Some celebrities will push back when Ryan is too aggressive with his questions. Most either change the topic or tease him out of the question.

Ryan and Ellen Degeneres are good friends. Not only has Ryan appeared as a regular guest on Ellen’s daytime talk show, the two socialize off-air. In fact, Ellen talked on her show about fixing Ryan up with various female celebrities appearing on her show.

Although I don’t normally pay close attention to the tabloids, from time to time I will catch a tidbit of information which seems noteworthy. Recently I was cleaning out my library and found a copy of “The Examiner” dating back to June of 2009. The paper had an article about “Hollywood Tightwads & Cheapskates”

It was interesting to note that “The Examiner” listed Ryan Seacrest as being famous for “overtipping – like $500 on a $100 bill.” The Examiner referenced www.glamoriti.com as a website that provides details on Hollywood Tightwads.

While Ryan Seacrest was referenced as a fabulous tipper, Sean Penn, Tiger Woods, Rachel Ray, Bill Crosby, Madonna, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Regis Philbin, Barbra Streisand and Duane Chapman have also been outed as tipping cheapskates.

Tiger Woods reportedly doesn’t tip because he claims to never have cash on him. Sean Penn reportedly rang up a tab of $450 with three pals and reportedly lift absolutely zero.

In all fairness it should be noted that sometimes the celebrity’s handlers are responsible for handling the tips and they drop the ball, forgetting to hand out the gratituties appropriately. Also, some celebrities really don’t carry any cash and only use plastic. That’s not always a valid excuse but can account for some bad tipping incidents.

Ultimately it’s interesting that Ryan Seacrest has been noted for his generosity. It shows that he really is a great guy, not just pretending to be one on TV.
