Cameron Diaz And Steve Carell Present 2010 Oscar Award To “Up”
Cameron Diaz looked gorgeous at the 2010 Oscars, held at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday (March 7) in Hollywood where she was a presenter with Steve Carell (The Office) for Best Animated Feature.
The lovely actress wore a stunning Oscar de la Renta long champagne tulle strapless gown with metallic ribbon and gold paillette embroidery. Her gown was from the designer’s Fall 2010 collection. She looked absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The best I have seen her in a very long time.
Steve said to the audience “when you are as beautiful as Cameron and I, it’s somewhere between irony and tragedy to appear in films where people can’t see our faces.” Cameron added “and bodies.” Steve said “especially bodies.” Cameron said “tonight’s nominees represent a field which has made such incredible strides that watching their dazzling images is almost as exciting as looking as us now.”
Cameron said “when we’re making movies…she said wait a minute…they didn’t fix the teleprompter, sooo.” Steve said “OK, this was originally written for Cameron and Jude Law. I stepped in at the last minute.” Cameron said “thanks Jude, I mean Steve.”
Cameron said “the truth is that both Steve and I are both fans of Animated Features. Here are some of the stars of this year’s films to talk about what it means to be nominated and what it means to them.”
The film “The Fantastic Mr. Fox” showed the main character, Mr. Fox, being interviewed by another animated character. The interviewer had Barbara Walters voice and the voice of the Mr. Fox, was of course George Clooney. Then the animated fox looked at the list of the films that they were nominated with and Mr. Fox said “these are all animated films. I thought we got nominated for real movies?”
Coraline also appeared as voiced by Dakota Fanning and The Secret Of Kells character appeared as well as The Prince And The Frog.
The stunning 37 year old Cameron finished her Academy Award look with a Roger Vivier Haute Couture Sesame clutch, gold satin Wagner pumps by Brian Atwood and white gold jewelry by Cartier in the form of hooped earrings. Stunning.
Cameron rocked her signature red lip, and a relatively sleek but classic side-swept hairstyle. Oscar is a classic choice for Hollywood’s biggest night and for Cam.

Because I’ve got thick hair that seems to grow on the top and sides, I need to tame it. I usually say to my hairdresser, “Can you give me the ‘Jude Law?”

I couldn’t remember what Cameron looked at like at the 2010 Oscars, so I just searched for it, and va-va-voom! I forgot how elegant she looked — you’re right, it was one of her best ensembles.
