Green Day Wins Best Rock Album At 2010 Grammy Awards Plans To Have Shots With Kings Of Leon
When the band went up on stage to accept their Grammy the lovely Katy Perry bowed to them and Alice gave them a shoulder pat. Obviously Katy was thrilled that Green Day won the Grammy Award for their fabulous 2009 rock opera album.
Billy Joe Armstrong from Green Day said “Thank you. Well first you’ve got to thank my family, Adrienne, Joey and Jakob. Also Tom Whalley and I really want to thank Butch Vig for really helping us put this together, this album. Butch, you’re awesome. Chris Duggan for engineering and Chris Agea for mixing this and now I’m going to go have shots with Kings Of Leon. Thank you so much. Thank you very much.”
