According to a TMZ exclusive, there’s more drama out of the “Two and a Half Men” camp.  You have to seriously wonder what’s in the water on the hit series set.

First there was all the drama between Charlie Sheen and his wife involving alleged death threats made by the couple which resulted in the police being called on Christmas to the Sheen location in Colorado.

Now Jon Cryer has supposedly contacted authorities after fearing his life was in danger.  The FBI is looking into whether a hitman had been hired by Cryer’s ex-wife Sarah Trigger.  Cryer reportedly has said that his ex-wife hired a hitman to take him out.

Cryer and Trigger have been involved in a very bitter custody battle over their son Charlie Austin. Sarah Trigger was arrested last year on child neglect charges after Charlie’s stepbrother was found with rope burns on his neck.

Supposedly the set of “Two and a Half Men” was closed last Friday as a result of fears for Jon’s life although other reports say the set was closed for unrelated matters not tied to Jon’s fears for his life.

Jon is currently married to Lisa Joyner, and they have a daughter together.  According to TMZ, the FBI has been on the lookout for a hitman with a contract on Cryer’s life in his pocket, since last Friday. The FBI would not comment on the investigation.

Cryer said that since the FBI has been shadowing him, he feels safer now and that the threat on his life is no longer a worry.  Cryer’s ex-wife told TMZ that she knows nothing about hiring a hitman to kill her former husband.

There has to be a book in there somewhere or a secret curse on the set or some one is punking somebody.

If you watch the show like I do you know that both men on the show, Charlie and Alan Harper, have a long history of problems with women including Alan’s divorce which resulted in his son Jake, spending so much time with his dad and Uncle Charlie.  Hence the name of the series, “Two And A Half Men” with Jake being the half man.  At least when the show started.

Jon Cryer just recently got married as I reported in a past blog.  He appeared on the Ellen Degerenes Show to discuss his honeymoon where he was swarmed by jellyfish.

Still, you have to wonder what the deal is with that show.  Especially right now.  In some ways the actors on “Two and a Half Men” have become more drama filled than “The Housewives Of Atlanta”.
