Ashley Judd Hairstyles

Ashley Judd has been keeping a low profile these days, at least on the Red Carpets.  However, she surfaced on November 10, 2009 for an event honoring her.

The event was held by USA Today and was attended by Ashley, her handsome husband Dario Franchitti and some of her longtime friends such as Mandy Moore, Molly Sims, Morgan Freeman and Ellen Burstyn.

Ashley flew to Beverly Hills to receive the USA Today Hollywood Hero award for her work with YouthAIDS.

In case you’ve been wondering what Ashley is up to these days, the actress is busy attending classes in Public Policy at Harvard in Cambridge.  Instead of playing a role where she is a student, the actress has traded roles and is actually dealing with studying and dealing with grades.

Ashley told USA Today reporter Ann Oldenburg “I’m trying to convince myself to get over the dream of straight A’s. Nobody cares. But I still have that undergraduate aggressive pride. I got a check last week instead of a check plus and I was really not pleased.”

Ashley also said her interaction with her fellow Kennedy School students was “bumpy at first.” “I’m really not a big deal,” she said, “but apparently they didn’t get the memo.”

Red Carpet Big Hairstyle

Ashley the grad student returned to the Red Carpet in a big way with hairstyle.  Her trademark chocolate brown hair was brushed up and off her gorgeous face and pulled tightly back towards the crown.

The crown was an explosion of barrel curls which were strategically placed to hug the top of her head and cascade down towards the middle of her head.

Ashley is known to have naturally thick chocolate brown hair which has a lot of natural wave.  Over the years she has mostly worn her natural hair brunette and on the longer side except when she accepted acting parts requiring her to change up her color her style.

Ashley has always been a popular hair role model since she has a gorgeous hair history.

The big question is was that all Ashley’s hair or did she pop on a clip-in pre-curled updo for the event?  Either way she looked beautiful in her trademark black and her make-up was beautiful.
