Ellen Degeneres had Lady Gaga on as her guest on Friday, November 27th.  She actually had Lady Gaga perform even before she did her regular dancing with the audience, which is quite a nod to Lady G.

When Ellen introduced Gaga for the chat part of the show she introduced her by saying “Rolling Stone Magazine called our first guest the defining pop star of 2009, please welcome the one and only Lady Gaga.”

After Gaga appeared on stage she literally ran over to Ellen and gave her a big hug.  In prior appearances on Ellen’s show Lady G has made it clear she is a huge fan of Ellen’s show.

Gaga was wearing a pink hue sleeveless latex dress with white lace up knee-high boots.  Her white, white blonde hair was sleek and straight.  Her hair was brushed off her face to one side from a side part.  Her hair hung to her waist.

She was wearing exotic white eye make-up.  Was her hair a wig or extensions or all of her hair?  It looked so amazing it was hard to say.  So who cares really?  She looked like a platinum blonde goddess from maybe the 40s.

32-year-old singer, songwriter and all around performer John Mayer has been a darling of the tabloids over the last few years due to his growing reputation as a Romeo due to his string of highly publicized relationships with Friends beauty Jennifer Aniston who he appeared with at the 2009 Oscars to reality star Jessica Simpson and actress Jennifer Love Hewitt.

John’s relationship with Jennifer Aniston was on again, off again and now reportedly completely off.  Some Hollywood insiders have speculated the relationship between John and Jen was never what the press reported it to be.

John’s relationship with Jessica Simpson was chronicled completely by the tabloids including her much publicized hair dying from her trademark blonde to a dark brunette supposedly at his suggestion.   Of course what happened privately between the couple may never really be known. Oprah Winfrey announced on her blog that Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special will feature a one-on-one interview with President Obama as well as an interview with the Mr. and Mrs. Obama.

The special will also go behind-the-scenes in preparation for the White House’s Holiday Season.

Oprah’s interview with President Obama will be her first with him since he took office in January of 2009.

The primetime special will air December 13th at 10pm.

Oprah has a special relationship with President Obama.  Her personal endorsement of Obama was her first ever for a presidential candidate.  As a result of her endorsement, he got a boost with female voters in critical geographic areas, according to later research into the “Oprah effect,” as he contended against rival Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

Since Obama won the election Oprah has been less politically active.  Recently she hosted former Alaska governor Sarah Palin on her show, leading to her highest ratings in two years.

Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff was reportedly rushed to the hospital yesterday after suffering a seizure allegedly tied to his long term battle with alcohol abuse.

Several news sources including Radaronline.com reported Hasselhoff had been taken to the hospital as a result of alcohol issues.  A source for Radaronline.com told the website that the actor had been hitting the bottle over the past two days.

Sadly the reality is that David has been hospitalized five times in recent years for alcohol poisoning.   Radaronline.com’s source said  “I asked one of the paramedics how David was doing and he told me his eyes were rolling back into his head, he was drooling and that he’d had a seizure,” a neighbor told the Web site.

Handle Highlighted Curls With Care

Before I start please note that the information provided is my own personal interpretation from years of studying hair (mine is wavy/curly), going to cosmetology school and constantly researching new products that are always coming out.  I attend several professional hair shows, seminars and events every year.

Naturally curly hair is naturally dry and fragile.  When curls are chemically highlighted it can become so thin and fragile that nothing seems to help.  Deep Conditioning Treatments can help.

A regular regime of deep conditioning curls can actually help make ringlets soft, manageable and like new again.  Again, not all experts agree in the benefit of deep conditioning but some people experience great benefit from deep conditioning so make your own decisions.
