Summit Entertainment has announced they are sending the stellar New Moon cast (second part of Twilight saga) on a 15-city nationwide tour from November 6th through 19th.

Yes, expected huge crowds of crazed tween/teens who will scream, faint and otherwise go a little bit crazy.   The mobs of New Moon fans will help to sell movie tickets, soundtrack CDs, booklets, T shirts and other movie related materials.

The New Moon tour will kick off in Los Angeles at the Hollywood & Highland Center on November 6th with a concert by several bands featured on New Moon soundtrack: Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls.

Fans can also attend a Q&A session with many of the movie’s cast members.  It hasn’t been announced if Robert Pattison will be available at now, at least at this point.

At each of the 15 city stops along the tour, there’ll be other activities and prize giveaways related to the film as well as the cast Q&As.

Some of the select tour cities will feature the movie’s soundtrack with custom band performances.

Special fans who acquire VIP credentials on October 31st will be granted access to a special event with select New Moon cast members at their respective malls.

In order to become a VIP fan you will need to register at a Hot Topic or select Nordstrom store at 8:00 AM on October 31st at one of the participating mall locations.

Those lucky fans who win the VIP credentials will be given access to return and meet select Full Moon cast members at assigned scheduled dates and times.   The VIP credentials provided on October 31st are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to those who make qualifying purchases.

VIP credentials are non-transferable. Visit Hot Topic and Nordstrom websites for more details.  Sadly the New Moon tour will not be stopping in any Dallas malls, which is very sad.  However, if you want to visit with the New Moon cast you can make arrangements to get to Houston.
