Wella Professionals USA Announce Trend Vision 2009 Finalists
WELLA PROFESSIONALS USA ANNOUNCES TREND VISION 2009 FINALISTS
Wella Professionals announces the finalists in the 2009 Trend Vision Competition. The competition was launched in Spring 2009 as the annual photo competition where stylists interpreted their choice of the Wella Global 2009 Trends to compete in one of two categories:
YOUNG TALENT: Open to hairdressers of 30 years of age or younger, this category honors the best in class interpretation of a Trend Vision 09 trend that delivers an overall look.

COLOR: The color category is open to stylists of all ages, and recognizes exceptional color work interpreting a Trend Vision 09 Trend.
The stylists competing in both categories were asked to create a finished look – cut, color, style, makeup and wardrobe – that was their own personal interpretation of one of the four Wella Global Trends – Utopia, Intersexion, Virtual Life and DeLush.
The Finalists are listed (in alphabetical order):
YOUNG TALENT:
- JUSTINE HORNICK – Root Salon – St. Paul, MN
– SARAH ROBERTS – Salon Gaboa – Clearwater , FL
– KATIE SCHEMEBER – Harvey Allen Salon – Merrick, NY
COLOR:
- LEONARD GOLONKA – Dieci Salon – Livingston, NY
– KELLY MATHYS – Spalon Montage – Woodbury, MN
– AUNDREA WITZIG – Atomic Kitten Salon – Bakersfield, CA
These finalists will go on to compete in New York, in mid-October, for a chance to become the USA TREND VISION winner in their respective categories. The winning finalists will then go on to represent the USA at the International Trend Vision competition in Berlin, Germany on November 1, 2009.

Everyone has their favorite way of using the internet. Many of us search to find what we want, click in to a specific website, read what’s available and click out. That’s not necessarily a bad thing because it’s efficient. We learn to tune out things we don’t need and go straight for what’s essential.
