Oprah’s Hair is Not A Weave
Hair has played a big part in the evolution of Oprah Winfrey.
At the end of a recent Friday episode of “Oprah Fridays Live,” the iconic talk show host addressed a pressing questions from all of her “Tweeple.”
The topic specifically addressed Oprah’s hair. Oprah said “Am I wearing a weave? Everybody’s like, ‘Oprah, we love your weave.’ This is not a weave, this is my hair,” Winfrey announced, before putting up a photo of herself with pre-pressed and pre-curled hair.
Best friend and Friday co-host Gayle King yelled “Yowzer!”
Oprah’s celebrity hairdresser Andre Walker is almost as famous for doing Oprah’s hair as Oprah is for addressing controversial hair topics.
It’s nice to know that Oprah’s hair is 100% hers and she’s as upfront and honest about her tresses as she is with everything else in her life.
