Britney Overcome By Smoke

Britney Overcome By Smoke

Wherever Britney goes, drama seems to follow.  Although I adore Britney if you have been following her career or life for any amount of time you have to honestly agree with me.

As reported by the media, even Yahoo News had a mention, Britney walked off the stage in Vancouver, Canada last night (Wednesday) after the concert hall she was performing in became filled with smoke.

According to the media reports, Britney, who has been forthcoming about the fact she lip-syncs in all of her concerts, left the stage because it was too smokey.  Even though Britney herself is a famous smoker (all types of cigarettes) she walked off the stage after just three songs.  The audience was not happy and responded by loud boos.

Britney Spears, a smoker, put the breaks on her Vancouver concert Wednesday night because it was too smokey in the arena.  Her Circus concert was halted for a full 20 minutes or longer.  An announcement was made to the crowd that it was not safe for Brit to continue her performance as long as people continued to smoke pot and regular cigarettes in the auditorium.  They were asked to cease and desist so Britney could resume her concert performance.

Britney finally appeared on stage after 40 minutes to finish the concert.  However, concertgoers felts Britney was still annoyed by all the smoke.

Later Britney’s “people” as exclusively reported by Perez Hilton’s Blog said wWe want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney’s set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue.”

Perez Hilton’s Blog also noted “sources say it really was a safety issue. “We were concerned for the lighting guys and everyone else working on the show.” If one of those guys up above got dizzy or sick from all that marijuana smoke….it wouldn’t have been pretty.”

As reported by The New York Daily News, Britney ended the show with the parting message, “Vancouver, don’t smoke weed” …. as well as a few expletives.

For additional Britney updates visit the Perez Hilton Blog since Perez seems to have direct sources tied into Britney.
